Diamond studs or expensive watch?

The watch for sure.... Just last night my good friend was so upset that while he was in the shower the washcloth got caught on the stud and it went down the shower drain. I have had quite a few studs get caught on something and fall out and get lost. I will never spend a lot on earrings. Too easy to lose.

do you have either now?
Do you have a nice pair of studs or a decent watch now?
I'd probably go for the watch first and buy some nice faux diamond earrings until later.

ITA. I have real studs & fakes. I wear my fakes every day, they are small so you can't even tell. The real ones are bigger and a big a PIA to get in & out (screw closures...big mistake).

I originally wanted the Santos (it didn't look so nice on me and wasn't automatic ) and was looking at the Roadster (unfortunately, not automatic as well), a Rolex and a Girard Perregaux.... but when our lovely watch dealer brought this out and I tried it on... it was undeniably "the one". It's a mid-size 18k yellow gold/stainless steel automatic Tank Francaise. :p

My conditions were that the watch had to be automatic and two-tone. Cause all the watches I already own are stainless steel and I wanted something to tie my gold and platinum jewelry together.

What I love about this style is that it's so classy and classic. The silver dial which isn't the plain white version is more similar to the Roadster's dial which makes it quite different...if you know what I mean. ;) My sister in law was wondering what style it was cause for her it didn't look like the regular Tank style. Haha! I just love it so much! :shame:

I'd pick the studs because they can be worn day and night aaalll the time!

I am not into watches because everyone carries a mobile phone nowadays that tells the time anyway, plus I wouldn't wear a watch out a night to a function etc. but I would wear diamond studs.

Are you sure this is automatic? How come it doesn't say automatic on the watch? My Cartier watch is also automatic, and it saids so on the watch. (I have a rose gold ballon bleu). or maybe it's indicated else where?
But in anycase it's a beautiful watch, congrats! Love it!
