Diamond stud wearers - do you take them out at night?

I have the Tiffany DBTY earrings and I never take them off

When I first got my studs, I took them out every night, and put them back in the box. Then I went on a trip and didn't dare take them out at night and found I could sleep in just fine. So I sleep in mine. I take them out every two to three weeks to clean them. they are H & A so they sparkle a lot whether dirty or clean.

I don't sleep in my rings, its uncomfortable because my fingers swell in the night--but my ears don't swell and my earrings are very comfortable, though they definitely aren't small.

I heard to be careful with screw backs--the threads wear out and people don't know and then lose them. Mine are la poussette--i heard that's the safest.

This exactly! I've never slept in earrings (or rings, for that matter) and my diamond studs are no exception. I don't wear them every day, though, so when I do wear them they just come off at night like any other pair would.

I leave mine in. Knowing me, I'll lose them if I take them on and off. (or the dog will eat it if it falls on the floor... gawd forbid... lol)

same! they are my only expensive piece of jewelry so i get really nervous when i take them out just to clean them occasionally. i got them with screw-on backs so i could keep them in all the time.

actually, when my SO gave them to me a few years ago for xmas, i ran into the bathroom to put them on, and promptly dropped one down the sink drain as i was screwing on the back, lol. i guarded the sink till my dad could find his tools, open up the pipes and get it out. but i learned my lesson! that's probably why i'm so nervous with them now.

Assuming I can get platinum backings and keep my new studs, I might leave them in all the time...maybe. Do you sleep in your studs?

I keep my tiny diamonds studs in 24-7. They only come out once a week for cleaning.
They are screwbacks so the ends are more blunt than the tradition type.
