I am actually more of a RTW and bag person than jewelry.
most of my RTW is older. I joke that my closet is vintage bc I’ve collected RTW for thirty years And still have and wear stuff from my mom and grandmother. but during shelter in place, I bought Eddie Bauer khakis, American giant t shirts, and cheap
Amazon.com t shirt sundresses, washable stuff.
Normally 3x1 jeans, tee shirts, chanel jacket during cooler months. (I collect navy jackets, but I also love rick owens leather jackets, Chanel pea coats, vintage Pucci, basically I collect coats). In the spring summer, I wear casual dresses or skirts, usually solid colors, from a variety of designers like Akris, Etro, YSL,
gucci, issey miyake alaia. Carolina Herrera fits well.
My colors are navy, black, beige, brown, but I do wear a lot of Hermes CSGM And mouselline in multiple colorways and other brands. My go to bags those colors plus Hermes gold and gray: for errands, Goyard St Louis PM, bottega Veneta or Evelyne PM or crinoline Vespa PM (newest is a chanel mini Reissue chevron crossbody, black hw) bc they’re lighter. For daytime, birkin 30s; HAC32; Victorias, JPG shoulder birkin and JPG Fringe Kelly. I did keep two metallic chanel reissues and a small croc chaine d Ancre and a few daytime clutches. . .
shoes are problematic bc I had ankle cartilage replacement, so mainly flats or lower heels now: ballet flats, Rockstud sandals, mules And flags in multiple colors, Chanel sandals and espadrilles, Gucci And Tods loafers and boots. Assorted designers. Plus. I love designer collaboration Birkenstock’s In all black.
sweaters mainly valentino, brunello, and DH’s John Smedley. I prefer merino wool to cashmere bc it’s a harder wearing wool. I don’t go out much at night except maybe to dinner. I have Dolce and Gabbana and some McQueen for going out.
I tend to buy multiples of the same style once I find it works. in terms of style, I try to straddle a line between fashion and sartorial (Whihc is possible with a limited color pallet And a collection of white shirts.
whta I don’t want to do is buy a piece of expensive jewelry and decide it’s not me or only special occasion. And I don’t want to start small if it means I’ll feel like it’s starter jewelry and want to keep trading up. Instead, I’d like to buy whats right for me Now.
this is probably more info than you need. I should have just said. Jeans and jacket with tote bag , hobo, or clutch. All I know is I am not a Cartier love bracelet or VCA Alhambra or Tiffany person.
forgot to add, I love the color palette and organic shapes and subtle tones of the jewelry you posted above.
