Any bags with over the top branding or hangtags.......
Ironic considering you have a
Coach handbag in your avatar...
Guess she likes Marc Jacobs from what I can see in her avatar.
Brands I will never buy:
Massaccesi - or however you spell it. Kinda boring looking to me.
Lily Pulitzer/Vera Bradley - Ew.
Christian Louboutin - I love me some rocker chic, spiky studded bags, but I think his is over-the-top sometimes, kind of like his shoes.
Rebecca Minkoff - I used to like her stuff, but now the quality has gone downhill
Kate Spade - I like the look of their bags, but many of them either are too old for me or impractical.
Coach - Because their stuff is still made in China/Vietnam and yet they are still raising prices. If you want to be the American version of LV, Coach, stop production in China and move to USA and close down ALL of your outlets!
Betsey Johnson - cheap, cheap, tacky, and gross.
Stella McCartney - overpriced for a vegan bag.
Alexander Wang - His designs are nice, but a bit expensive for being made in China. I'm surprised that many department stores consider him a "premier" designer at all. Really?
Michael Kors - Too blingy, tacky and the fact that he copies everyone. No thanks.
Dooney & Bourke - Gorgeous bags, just not for me.
Chanel - same old designs over and over.
Balenciaga - I use to be into their bags since I am obsessed with the moto-chic look, but I've lost interest now.
Hermes - I like their Garden Party tote and the Kelly Pouchette, but I would never spend money on them.
Burberry - Again. Boring. Not for me.
MCM - I did buy one of their bags but I kind of regretted it now. Too pricey for being made in Korea and it was impractical.
Juicy Couture - Yuck.
Tory Burch - some of her bags look nice, but I hate the gigantic logo branding. It's as obnoxious as Michael Kors' bags.
Valentino - Dunno if I'll ever buy their bags since their repair policy sucks, but I admit that every time I go into a department store and see their bags on display, I always find myself admiring it. But for $3000 I rather spend it on a brand with a more lenient repair policy. Sorry Val.
Brands I DO like:
Longchamp - Their "Made in France" bags only. So comfortable, durable, lightweight and sturdy. I love their canvas and leather bags the most. I'm definitely planning on saving up for their smaller leather bags for the summer.
Louis Vuitton - I heard their quality is going downhill, but who isn't? I usually tend to go for their older styles, but I admit I always found myself gushing over their new bags every now and then. I would love to own their Favorite MM in monogram someday.
