Balenciaga is probably the only brand I would never buy from, I'm just not a fan of that style (I could see how some would like them), I like more structured classic styled bags and the Bal bags look pretty slouchy and also occasionally like the faux leather bags at target. No hate on target I just wouldn't buy an expensive bag that looks like it's from there.
Louis Vuitton monograms and Damier - I think these are the most classic looking monograms but I still am not a fan. I like the non monogrammed from Louis Vuitton, I just wished they used a smooth leather instead of the epi leather all the time, I've only found one bag that the epi really fits it.
Gucci is my favorite premier designer, I think they have very unique but still classic designs if you avoid the monograms and over branded bags. But I hate guccis monogram... it looks old? I don't know how to explain, same with
coach. They look dated. Poor color choice.
Chanel - I've only seen a real Chanel once- at an upscale antique store. It looked very beautiful in the display case but I still didn't understand the appeal. Chains are very busy, cc clasp is a little too flashy, the quilted leather looks a bit like a tire. I think one thing is that they rarely photography well, so they tend to look cheaper in pictures.
Goyard - way too busy, look cheap.
Some Hermes look classic but some look incredibly gaudy.
I wouldn't buy any new exotics either (from any brand), the process for getting these leathers is incredibly cruel. Hermes alligators are only knocked unconscious when they are skinned. Normal cowhide is linked to the meat industry so it's not terrible to buy that new, in my opinion, as they are also being killed for meat, not just a handbag.
