Gucci- I just associate them with the late 90s, when they were popular back then. Def haven't been a fan of any of their collections for the past decade. I really think they need a new creative director to revamp their designs.

Mulberry - overpriced for such plain bags. No creativity or wow factors in their bags. They're well made but I could easily find similar designs from stores like Madewell, Anthropologie or some no name label and pay 1/3 price.

Celine - Overhyped. I think the phantom bag is just weird to look at. No matter how many times I look at it, it just looks like an emoticon face (especially with multi colors). I don't really get the hype, both the popular phantom/trapeze bags are just tote bags with the sides hanging out.

Tory Burch - ugh, not a fan of the logo, esp on the flats.

Goyard -falls in the same category as clothing from Desigual^ borderline offensive. Looks like the wallpaper from my IBM computer circa 1995.

I'm baffled. What makes Goyard "borderline offensive"? What am I missing?

I will never own a Hermes bag unless it's a gift or I win the lottery. I'm not willing to spend that on a bag. At the $10k+ price point, I start looking at jewelry and would rather have a gold necklace, etc. But, that's just me and my fashion hierarchy 😊.

I really hate most Louis Vuitton bags because I don't like the look of the monograms or the canvas.

Whenever I see a Moschino bag, it looks silly and juvenile.

I don't want to say "never" to these designers but, while I can appreciate some of them, they aren't my style so I haven't found a reason to consider them: Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga, Celine, Versace, Goyard, Burberry.

And while it's not a designer brand, I won't ever buy Coach. They killed that brand and all I can see now is overexposed and tacky.

Michael Kors and kate spade

Personally I just don't like MK. I think the bags look decent but they are just overdone and now there are tons of fakes and most low end brands will make an "inspired" version of the totes. If you go into Zara, H&M or Topshop they are doing the same bags but with no logo. It just takes away the appeal for me. Recently a coworker had a fake MK bag from China and the letters fell off and it said "ichael kor" and it just looked so tacky.

With Kate Spade, I just see too many of these bags "made for outlet" at stores like TJmaxx, NR, Kate spade outlet, Marshalls, ect and this also just puts me off. Plus I don't find the bags that special looking or soft. Maybe it's just a bit too preppy for me.

I have a Kate spade wallet and it's the most buttery, softest leather ever. I don't have any of her bags though. My friend just got one from the outlet, and you can clearly tell it's an outlet bag.

They actually have a new Creative Director since Menswear FW15.16. That goes by saying that the recent Womens collection is by him as well. Both collections are definitely a complete 180 from Frida Giannini and Tom Ford's aesthetic. Whether it's for the better design and commercial success-wise still remains to be seen.

I use to be an LV fan, but now I'm over it. I still have my Speedy's and my luggage, but I'm not excited about it. I feel like the way they treat their customers and the quality of their products aren't there anymore (like Mercedes-Benz).

I'm not a fan of MK, Coach, or similar name brand bags.

I love Gucci probably for some of the reasons people hate it. I love the 90's and it puts me at peace to remember that time. I think their logo is beautiful and I love an imprinted Guccissima pattern. I think it also fits in with my general style (loose silk tops from Vince or other flowy things from Anthro). I also find the quality and customer care to be great. I love their large bags, but I also love the red and green straps and functionality of cross-body or belt bags.
