Designer Brands You Will Never Buy

I'm not a fan of LV (except for the Epi), Gucci, Burberry, Hermes, Longchamp.

I used to like the looks of Chanel bags but they are too common these days to be beautiful unless it is in a beautiful shade or shape.

Great thread! Here are mine:

- LV Cerise
- LV multicolor handbags (especially the white Speedy...)
- MCM bags
- MK bags
- YSL Muse
- I dislike almost everything Chanel makes except the classic styles
- I dislike almost everything Burberry comes out with
- The Longchamp Le Pliage (except for travelling)

Hermes, Chanel, Prada, D&G, Celine, Gucci, Dior - out of my financial range, and don't fit in my lifestyle

LV, Balenciaga, Chloe, Longchamp, MCM, Burberry - just don't like them

Michael Kors, Kate Spade, Coach, Tory Burch, Rebecca Minkoff - not really for me either, but have some slg from some of them i love! and all those customs fees i really don't like!

any brands left i like and buy? i love Massaccesi, Mulberry, Bottega Veneta, Anya Hindmarch - as i just notice, full european girl :-)

I don't like to say never because overall I don't like Gucci, but I do have an 85th anniversary Gucci that I love. However, I think I can probably safely say never to the following:

Hermes & Chanel - Aside from the price, I just don't get the appeal. I look at them and think "prim, proper & uptight". SO not me. I wouldn't wear either brand if I got them as gifts.

MK - Too much blatant copy-catting. If there was an MK bag I did like on looks, I think I'd avoid it just on principle.

I will not wear anything made from threatened species!!

I think I'm probably open to anything else.

That's why Chanel and Hermes are perfect for me. I'm prim and proper and sometimes a little too uptight!

Hey, this seemed to be an anything goes thread, with people being able to state any opinions about brands they don't like. It's a thread about NOT liking stuff. I thought I could speak freely about not liking them. Tons of posters in this thread bash my favorites. That's what this thread is for. In fact the post right before mine, her first 3 listed "just don't likes" are 3 of my favorites (Balenciaga, Chloe & LV).

Yes, I hate Chanel. Boring, old lady looking (they're freaking quilted, for crying out loud!) Yuck, yuck, yuck!

Lol. Love mulberry and BV!!

i don't think there is a brand that I will 'never' buy. as my mind always changes, there are so many well-designed bags not catching my eyes at the very first sight. However, there are often the cases that I love them gradually and want to buy them more and more. There are also the case that there are some bags striking me at the first sight, but when time goes by, I gradually don't like them...

so it all depends...

completely agree with this. There are brands I like and think overall the aesthetic meets with my own but they aren't producing anything for me to buy at the moment. I'd give Valentino as an example. I'm glad Valentino is moving away from the rockstuds in upcoming seasons. I like it but it's just not for me.

I can totally relate to your comment about not purchasing MK bags on principle!
