LV canvas....I just can't do it...

That's what I said.

Then over the summer, I caved and got the Neverfull GM in DE.
Needed a very low maintenance bag that I could take to the beach, stuff full of crap on long road trips and use in bad weather when I needed to haul a lot of stuff.
I love my Balenciaga's but there's no way I'd take one to the beach.

The LV is perfect. Nothing else comes close.

After that, I'll never say "never" again..lol..

I understand where you r coming from but my dump everything in it bag is the longchamp la pilage and I live in the Uk (rubbish weather and the 2 I have have survived) It fits everything I need it to and is a fraction of the price of the LV. My personal opinion though. Maybe one day but for now and for the past few years it's a no to LV canvas.

Michael Kors, Coach, and Louis Vuitton, I don't really care for the bags, feel like most are over-priced for what you get, especially LV, I guess I'd give them an ok. It's really the cult-like following that turns me off.

while my "loathe list" is above, my, maybe I"ll accept it as a gift is as follows, Balenciaga [very extra and unattractive], Bottega Venetta [understanding they are a part of the house of Gucci, but nothing particularly sexy about the Easter basket pattern], vera bradley [definitely NOT a flower child, and this phase will soon too pass...we HOPE]

That being said, I do have one LV [ellipse] but going to sell it, I'm so over LV. The brands I buy most are Dooney & Bourke and Gucci [leather, not mono, except my joy boston and guccissima leather]. and before anyone says Dooney bags are juvenile or ugly, please take a look at my [very partial] collection, link is in my signature!

I personally don't care for BRIGHTON handbags or anything else made by them. To me, there is nothing youthful about the brand at all. And I'm not sure what's up with all those curly-qs and scroll thingeys they put on everything.

I don't think some of the vera bradley patterns are bad but they do scream 'old lady' to me. I had a red vera bradley wallet which was in red tones, but I got tired of it after a while.

Another patterned brand I don't like is Burberry.

So true. I went in their store and the sales associates are so nice. Too bad their merchandise isn't. The bags are so cheap looking and the prices are way too high for the quality. I also agree their signature logo is tacky, too.

Can't speak on the other two, but Dooney & Bourke quality is still very on point. I own DB and several premiere designer bags, and DB holds its own with the best of 'em. Check out my collection to see for yourself.
Dooney and Bourke is great quality for sure. I have enjoyed switching to that brand after having other bags.

Never say never but it's unlikely I will ever buy a Hermes, at least not at a full retail price.

I have one small older Michael Kors but will not buy another MK in the future as I see too much copying of other styles. I know copying/imitating is the best form of flattery but when I think of MK, I only think of copy-cat.
