I never say never - because as you age things change dramatically!

And the brand I said when I was younger I would never buy - I have ten bags now.

I read several pages to see what's going on here:) I think it's important to remember if you are in the target market of the brand and your lifestyle.
I'm not even going to start with Juicy Couture, Guess and Vera Bradly :)

1. MK, I used to love his bags, the quality was great. I have a 4 years old bag, it's still in amazing condition after being a workhorse. But when I see lots of people with his bags, it's too much. I'm keeping one of his bags with croc embossing though, it looks beautiful, don't know what it's inspired from:)

2. LV, as far as loss of uniqueness. On my recent travel to Hawaii, I saw traditional canvas on every other woman. I love their monogram though, it's not like GG on Gucci. But I collect limited ed only, unlike others I like their cerise and roses versions. I like some of their leather bags and styles as well.

3. Prada, Fendi, Burberry, Mulberry and other with price tag $1500+ made in China. I saw a Furla bag made in Italy, priced at less than $500. I guess the labor in Italy is not that high.

4. Gucci, even Tom Ford said smth like you can artificially make a luxury brand.

5. I don't care for Celine bags, travel tote's face. I like Pashli design though.

6. Contemporary, not liking A Wang, Kate Spade and Tory Burch. I like some R Minkoff.

Brands I love
1. Chanel, have to baby them though. I'll save them for when I have a daughter, I'm pretty sure they'll still be complaining about the quality and high prices:)
2. Balenciaga. I'm a rare one loving Bal and LV. I discovered it just recently and I can't get enough. I like that most people don't even know the brand).
3. Dior, Bottega Venetta and Hermes, don't own them yet, because they don't fit
my style at the moment. Birkin is a bit everywhere though.

Mulberry - I used to have a few Mulberry but the quality going down, and how popular it's become has put me a bit off even carrying my old bags. There were times when I'd get on the tube and I'd see my bag on 3 other girls! Maybe I'll go back eventually but I'm not interested right now.

Funny as I bought my two LV bags 13 (my first designer bag) and 10 years ago and then said I wasn't going to buy any more since their canvas prints were "too much" and too obvious. However fast forward to now and I'm contemplating buying an epi Neverfull.

There is something to be said about the durability and quality of LV's products. The ones I own (which are older than most others in my collection) are still in great shape and LV provides repair services if you need anything fixed.

Mind you this all probably has to do with my age and mummy-hood. I own and still love my Chanel, Bal and Celine etc, but I'm now really attracted to the idea of a quality workhorse, not just a beautiful design or yummy leather.

Still I think I'll be very surprised if I ever own a Michael Kors bag.

What? Fendi made in China? Is that something from the past? The ones I have were all made in Italy.

Sorry to hijack.

For me I would say Hermes. It is not that I don't like them because I do. The problem is I tend to be afraid to wear my more expensive bags. They sit in my closet and rarely get used.
