I'll never get a MK as all his designs are copies from other top brands

That's the reason I sold all my Mk bags.... That was the time when I started to get into fashion and high brands. I loved them, but the more I got into handbags I noticed how the bags were all copies. Was very disappointed, so I sold all of them.
I really don't like the Birkin either, just seems so unpractical.
I hate Guccis bamboo bags (sorry) just seems to me so stupid and random.

I don't want to own any bags that are so oversaturated in the marketplace, that you see them coming and going and then knocked off at huge amounts. Several people have mentioned MK, I also see it with Coach, Rebecca Minkoff, and now Tory Burch is approaching this level. The styles start to get cutesy and are no longer anything special. I would rather have a few special pieces than a ton of just average. Once they are featured on a Home Shopping Show, you know it's headed for doom.

I don't understand the fascination with MK; the pieces are not that great. Must be his stint on Project Runway and his couture line that have earned him notoriaty.

everything that comes without a shoulder strap. it really is a hassle to have to keep bending your arm to hold a bag. really doesnt allow you to do things freely.

hence i dont understand people's fascination with birkin. it looks heavy, and everyone is wearing it now. somehow imo it has lost its uniqueness.

I love real leather, so anything that is at a reasonable price with good leather is good for me. Being in NYC all I see are fakes all day and they make the LV's very unappealing. I no longer buy coach or LV or any other brand that has their logo all over it. the fakes truly cheapen the brand

I will never get a hard canvas LV monogram bag. I can't take two steps without bumping into someone carrying one, either real or fake, and I can't tell which one's real or fake at a distance anyway so I just assume they're all fake. wouldn't want to carry a real one and have someone else assume it was fake, lol! so none of that for me.

If you know the brand, it's pretty easy to tell the fakes; assuming all LV bags are fake because you don't know the brand is rather silly. :weird:

ok not ALL fake, but a large chance to be fake. it is not easy to tell fakes if it's a good fake (and there's loads of good fakes). I'm not even all up close with them, just passing by or waiting in line. don't really get the chance to examine stitching details colors etc! anyway, EVEN if they're all real (which they are not, for sure), I just don't like monogram bags in general. too advertise-y.

eta;
-also wanted to add MK to the list of bags I'll never get. saw enough hideous designs from them to convince me they have some bad designers. also don't really like the name of the brand.
-don't think I'd ever get a Prada bag; too common with the triangle logo.
-no braided Bottega Veneta for me either, not fond of the style even though it's pretty interesting leather usage
-Tory Burch, at least not for a while. seems more like a mature brand (mostly see older women shopping there)
