Designer Brands You Will Never Buy

i'm so picky, there are tons i could name, and it's all because of my own personal odd taste...
but the overriding factors:
1. LV, dior, and other bags with huge logos are gauche to me.
2. whipstitching and lots of random tassels scream 'let's head to the rodeo, ya'll'!, which isn't the look i'm going for.
3. i flirted with the koobas, but on second thought, they seem quite boho and over the top.
4. multicolored dooneys? no. thank. you. my 13-year-old cousins carry them.

Yes I agree with so many ladies here.
I'm actually really really really picky when it comes to bags, I'd like to purchase a designer bag however due to my pickiness I can't hardly find anything I like, and if I don't like - love - it then I won't buy it.
No offence to anyone, obviously everyone has their own personal tastes.
To name a few bags that I can't stand: Fendi Spy (I think they're a bit scary) - anything with logos like LV and Gucci (I agree, advertisement and too many fakes out there) - Prada - Dior Saddle (lol, whoever said they should come with horses, good one!) - Chloe and Coach (most of them).
I like Chanel for the classy look. I do wonder when I meet people who are in love with anything "Designer" if they actually LOVE it or they're just forced to like it because it's "designer" .. sometimes I wish someone would design something really really weird looking and have people go all "crazy" about it just as a joke.

I can't believe I started it almost three months ago. Seems just like yesterday.
Just to show how you can hate a bag one day and love it the next, I said in the very first post on this thread that I disliked the Bbags. Now I own 8 of them.
Still don't like Hermes though. I don't think that one will change. Spend enough time in this forum and you'll end up loving all bags I suppose.

LOL, I Love this thread. I think I've replied to this one before. But, I have an update (unless this is the same answer I gave last time). Sorry Coach girls, but I am so sick of those darned CCCCCCCCCCCCC's all over the bags. I just feel a slight irk when I see one. But I'm in NY so I never just see ONE. Try ONE HUNDRED...a DAY! I also see a lot of LV's. But for whatever reason, they don't bother me like the CCCCCCCCCCCCCoach bags. Anywho, if you like it, rock it. That's just my little, teensy, weensy opinion.

OH GOSH FENDIHUNTER, first time seeing this thread, and i was like FENDIHUNTER dislikes bbags??.. I see her w/ SO MANY of them... checked the date, came to the last page... and yep you have been converted

hehehe..okay... mine would be:
Louis Vuitton Ceris ... mmm not a big fan at all, looks too cartoony.. & yeah the groom line... don't understand that much either!
Somtimes too much logos aren't my type of thing, anymore! use to love it, but now just not so much!
It's Chanel for me - actually anything quilted but I most associate that with Chanel - seems old fashioned and unpleasantly busy to me, especially when combined with a gold chain strap and hardware. Gucci, LV monogrammed anything and the huge hardware laden designs also pass me by completely . . .Then again, I had never considered Balenciaga until I met a Twiggy in Teal IRL and fell in love . . . anything's possible and alas, this forum makes it more than possible!
I don't understand the LV bags with the pandas or the groom on them. I also don't understand the cerise (?) collection. Why do you want cherries all over your bag? I haven't seen one IRL, so maybe they're truly awesome. I dunno. I definitely don't like the LV Stephen bag with or without the leopard print. It looks like a duffel bag to me, way too big.
Any coach bag, except for the all leather ones. I especially don't like the coach logo bags. I used to hate LV mono bags, but somewhere along the way, I was converted over to the dark side. I don't like bags that have too many tassles, and I might get flamed for this, but I'm not fond of accessorizing one's bag, be it with scarves or bag charms.
