Lily, I'm all for a dibs system! In fact, since it will be a cold day in hell before my husband is going to warm up to the idea of me buying more scarves, I can devote my time to searching for the ones you all want!! That would be fun, and I could live vicariously through your purchases!

Dear Lily, have you ever considered to become the Festival Queen of La Tomatina de Buñol?

Oh, god, looking at this makes my skin crawl. We used to can tomatos when I was a kid and I can still remember that disgusting feeling of slipping the skins off the tomato after it got dunked in the hot water. Ewwwwwww.

hclubfan - well come to find out, it DID rain - a quick heavy shower - dried up immediately, leaving no signs of it. I found out from the neighbor. LOL! Twinkie stayed in the screened in porch out of the rain. Murphy obviously didn't. They both like water and Twinkie doesn't mind the rain, just one of those odd things how it happened. Definitely had me scratching my head!

Waves, gals and miss you! Between work and fun nights out Ive perhaps been on tfp for half an hour since Sunday. Hope to catch up after dinner with friends tonight! Haven't counted in over a year but should be over 400 silkies by now.

Lily, sounds like you're in licopene hell!!!! I adore tomatoes, but don't wish to be buried in them! You must feel like those who work in a candy shop, which abruptly puts an end to one's desire to eat candy (now there's an idea for me!!)

Pugs..... WE MISSED YOU SOOOOO MUCH!!!!!

KATEL....OVER 300??!?!? You've been hiding that little secret from us....from no on, we'll definitely be turning to you for scarf tips too!

Irish... I read that Murphy came in soaking wet yesterday, while Twinkie was dry...what was that all about???!!

Pamella, Les Cles was my first favorite design. Last year I got it in the most devine periwinkle blue 90cm cashmere scarf, and wore it practically every day all winter...got it at Bergdorf's in NY. Is yours the same blue, or is it a navy?

Tillie, what can I say, other than "you're in deep deep trouble" now! Prepare yourself for an obsessive journey through silks/cashmeres/mousselines/cottons, etc. that knows no bounds!

Well, I think I can safely say that I've had enough of them too, hclub, but he'll bring more and I'll graciously (somewhat :D) turn them into the sauce/relish - whatever it is. He loves it, is very appreciative and loves to give it to his friends (who then call me to see if then can place re-orders!)

I'm thankful to have a good job with a truly decent and kind man, and this past year with his wife's breast cancer, his constant travel, a problematic son, etc, he deserves a treat.

And, besides, if I was chained to a computer 24/7, I'd probably slit my wrists!

:roflmfao: Brilliant! Let us know if it works... LOL, I can see the headlines now... "shortage of heritage tomatoes... fellow furbie finds fountain of youth!"

Oh, I'll just tell the farm manager to plant another acre next year, pugs. I'll keep you all supplied in tomato facials. And, if you don't feel like a facial, you can put it over pasta!

Heck, there's a beauty line out featuring grape seed extract, etc, so why not tomato?:D
