OK...now I'm in trouble, and it's all Lily's fault (you too lolakitten!!! I just went on ebay, and a seller has a scarf in the cw I've always wanted. It's Beloved India, and the number is 230495290210. What do you think? Anyone have this? The same seller has one I've never seen before, and the design looks quite intriguing to me (so "not me", but intriguing)...it's called "Les Parisiens". I can almost hear the scarfie's rolling their eyes, saying "Of course hclub...that's a classic!". Kind of unusual, and I like the colors. Lolakitten, I love the one you're bidding on, and Lily, I have to research yours, as I've never heard of it (no surprise there, as you are a true collector!).

Wow hclubfan! What a way to jump both feet into colour!!!
Jan Goode has some Les Pariesiens on her site too ;)

Hello darling Furbies!!! Been away on vacation and buried with lawyers and auditors since I returned to the office, so I'm hiding in my office and scarfing down salad and reading Crafty for a few minutes. So I thought I'd say hi and send hugs to all of you! I've missed you! :hugs:I never caught up while I was in LV so I don't think I have the time or stamina to go back 45 pages! You guys have been chatting up a storm. So sorry to miss the fun! I just went back a page or two and read that Katel and VB have scarves in the hundreds! I don't think I really want to count mine!

Hi Pauillac!!! We missed you...seems like you were gone for ages!! Don't even try to count your scarves...I'm sure your husband just won't want to know (my husband immediately gets that "I'm calculating how much this costs look" on his face! :nogood::rolleyes:)

Oh, I'll just tell the farm manager to plant another acre next year, pugs. I'll keep you all supplied in tomato facials. And, if you don't feel like a facial, you can put it over pasta!

Heck, there's a beauty line out featuring grape seed extract, etc, so why not tomato?:D

Perfect. I'll expect my tomatoes to arrive and I'll get to work on our Tomat Extract....

I know that LGA has Beloved India (I could never get over those big elephant toes even though I love the overall feel of it.) I think she might have Les Parisiens too, which I think was issued in 2006 as part of "Paris in the Air." Beloved India was issued in 2008. I'M SURE THE LITTLE SCARF PIGGY, VICKYB, HAS BOTH!:D

Trophees, features the stunning mosaic patterns in the Duomo San Marco, as well as the four bronze horses, captured in Constantinople, brought back to Venice and installed above the portico of San Marco (just copies are up there today though. The originals have been moved to a museum to preserve them.)

I actually had the scarf once but didn't like the colorway and sold it. Now, I want it back!

Trophees looks very pretty Lily! The picture on ebay is a little unclear though...I would love to see what it looks like once you get it. Not surprised to hear that our resident scarfies have Beloved India and Les Parisiens! I almost got Beloved India in a cashmere shawl in L.A. last month...still haunts me that I let it go. It was in a gorgeous chocolate brown/deep red cw. Unbelievably beautiful!

...that's exactly the way my mom feels about Beloved India, Lily! Too funny! She didn't like the big grey feet either! But I adore the colors, and it looks pretty while tied.

Funny story... was getting my hair colored today (decided to darken the blonde a bit!), and this sweet young woman came up to me and meekly asked if she could take a photo of my gold birkin!! She said it's her dream bag, she thought she had always wanted a black, but saw mine and wants a gold now (I'd say go for either!). So I took pics of her holding my bag on her iphone! Too cute! Then she started grilling me about sizes, leathers, etc. But the piece de resistance was when she said "Oh, your kelly is just devine!" I had to tell her that, after all that, my bag was not a kelly! ;)

Hclub, everyone was new to scarves at some point, and everyone has to start learning somewhere. One person's "I will die if I don't get that scarf" is another one's "eh, not so much." I learned pretty quickly that for me, a scarf has to look right with my complexion and hair, or it's not going to get worn. So ask away, we'll enable as needed!

But, there is no guarantee that I'll actually get it. If not, another one will roll around at some point. They always turn up sooner or later!:D
