The office does smell pretty fabulous, pamella, and it will for several months to come, but it's due to the pickling spices and not the darn tomatoes.

And, the only way I can keep up with the real work is to keep putting a few extra hours in each day during "tomato season."

I've just heard that there will be another 30 lbs. or so arriving on Monday. I feel a sick day coming on!:graucho:

Oh no, another 30 lbs on Monday! So glad there are no other "crops" in the
works. I can imagine that it would be "kind of fun" the first day, but then
after that, it get's "old" soon! Now, if I remember correctly, shouldn't Pecan
season be coming right on the heels of tomato season! This is the price one
must pay for being a "gourmet cook"!! Everyone loves a "Lily Dish"!!

Katel - 300? You and Vicky are my idols - I'm still only in double digits! But I'm sure I'm not the only one out there who feels like something is missing if I'm not scheming about buying a scarf, waiting for my SA to call me to come look at a scarf, or watching a scarf on eBay. Right? Please tell me I am not alone in these feelings.

Pugsy, welcome back - missed you!

Pamella - the KDT is ORANGE!

Yeah, the darn tomatoes have kept me from even glancing at eBay, shelbs. I'm depending on you and LGA to email me with anything you think I can't live without!

Speaking of eBay, and since so many of us seem to be scouting it these days for scarves, I'd hate to think that we'd be bidding against each other and driving the prices up. Furbies should stick together, right?

If anyone is interested, we might think about listing the auction we're tracking and calling "dibs." Of course, we'd be on the honor system, but I think it could work. If anyone wants to try it, just do so, and we'll see how it shakes out.

I'm not looking at anything right now - all I see are TOMATOES!

Yes, Lily, I think the same thing, how could we implement this "dibs" system? no kidding, I'd be willing to do so!

The fabric pouch in the center of the scarf is from the Emile Hermes collection, p. You'll see when you get it, which I hope will be any day now.:p

Just love Les Cles and the Medor studs along the border too. I don't think a collection is complete without this scarf. It's simple but so complex at the same time.

You know, I forgot to mention the Medor Studs on the border, I love those
too!!! Can't wait to get it, but it is taking a long time from Canada. So far
nine days and counting!!

Hi Lily--what a great idea...nothing catching my fancy at the moment, but I'd be delighted to give it a whirl! And I loved the story of Les Cles! (and now have to put it on my list...oh dear).

Here's a question--what are folks looking for? (I review scarves on 'bay and elsewhere in the evenings as a form of therapy--couch shopping!)--happy to enable :graucho:

And Katel---300+.....OMG ....!! Are there pics?

Hi Shelby!

and Pugs--welcome back--missed you!

It's raining kitties and puppies here today, flood warnings in effect, and I need to go see clients (no silk today, though :shucks:)--may need a boat...!

'bye furbies, time to cast off!

Shelby, we may be twin daughters of different mothers!!! That's me to a T! (And I frame them. And I buy clothing/select my outfits to "work" with them....)

Dear Lily, have you ever considered to become the Festival Queen of La Tomatina de Buñol?

Oh this is hysterical Birkinmary!! I think I can almost spot Lily in the crowd!!! How are you my dear?? :flowers::hugs:

Shelby, I think it's safe to assume that many of us here share your obsession with scarves (I'm certainly guilty as charged!). Can't wait to see pics of your orange KdT...I saw a woman wearing one at Starbucks yesterday, and I wanted to rip it off her little wrists! :graucho:
