Hi guys! I am selling a mono zippy I purchased myself from LV... I can’t find a date code on it and a buyer is requesting it. I purchased it in 2007 if that helps? I promise I have looked everywhere on this thing!

I have a few LE mono zippys and the date code is in big interior pocket behind the card slots in the seam on the left side when the wallet is open on the zipper pull side, hopefully this makes sense?

I cannot read this code. It’s in the Crazy in Lock bracelet. It’s just not stamped very deep. I can read 4198 but I cannot make out the letters. I thought it was BG or BC But that doesn’t match anything in the DateCode chart. Can anyone help? Thanks.

@Addy Any idea on the above?
BC refers to either Italy or Spain depending on the specific category of item. This is from the 49th week of 2018 of course and should be from Italy as it is an accessory. I believe the reason it appears to be BG at a first glance is due to this item's use of tumbled leather rather than top grain leather which makes it have a creased appearance.

Hi, I didn't see BC in the reference guide.

Is there another guide that I can refer to? thanks.

I'm browsing ebay for vintage beauties and stumbled upon this datecode. Maybe it's my stupidity but i can't solve the riddle. If it's from 1996 then the 1st and 3rd should make the month :/. Any help would be appreciated

8906 refers to a french made bag from June 89'
From my personal date code archive:
"Early to late 1980's (sometimes 1990 pieces): 3 or 4 numbers (depending on year) first two refer to year followed by month"
These typically have the factory codes after the number however, sometimes on bags from 89 I have seen the letter codes first as 1989-1990 was the transition year

As there are not 80 months, the above must be correct unless the artisan made a mistake which is rare but is known to happen.

Thank you so much! I thought 4 digits started after 1990 or something and i got messed up with the 1-3, 2-4 rule. Karma points on the way to you mr.

Hello: biding on a Bloomsbury on eBay date code DU1111 does this sound right?
Yes that is a valid date code, it means the bag was crafted in France in the 11th week of 2011, remember the presence of a date code does not mean it is authentic, most fakes have one, post it in the AT thread if you're unsure about the authenticity of the bag.
