Date Code & "Made In" Questions

The factory code TX does not solely refer to Texas. TX was also used on a line in one of the other American factories prior to even the completion of the factory in Texas. LV has tended in the past to recycle date codes and has used them in different locations when a new factory was opening up especially on different lines (ex. some factory codes for Italy were used in France for a time and vice versa)

IDK, I don't think I've ever seen a "TX" but that doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. Maybe someone else will chime in soon to answer the question for you.
Hi! I just got my LV Artsy MM mono last Friday at the LV store and realized it's also dated TX3158... I tried doing the "LV date code calculator" and it's stating "this indicates an invalid date code"?! How could this be, when it was purchased from the store?! TIA!

It is a legit code. According to other posters there is a factory in or near Fort Worth Texas, hence the TX.

Thank you Bayborn! Do you by chance know why it would state "invalid code" on the Date Code Calculator? I thought that was very odd since I bought it from the store?! Maybe the calculator isn't updated? All my other bags showed up when I entered the date codes in the past... I did see other post about the TX codes, I'm just concerned it didn't show up!

Is it the bag you posted in the authenticate this LV section? It should have the made in tag somewhere in the bag..
yes it is. she seller said there was no "made in USA" tag. and the bag looks pretty authentic... however I am no expert. I was reading some posts and someone said that some of the SA's will removed these "made in USA" tags? ... not too sure as this has not happened to me before.

No, there should be a made in tag in the seam of the bag, she needs to check. The made in tag is sewn into the seam of the bag and no SA is going to remove that...go to a reseller site like yoogis closet and do a search of the graceful and check what the made in tag is.

I am waiting for a reply from a company called "******************" . Do you have any recommendations on a company you prefer? I will prob send it to two places. I also posted it on a Facebook group to see others opinions :)
