ANYWHO...I agree that the handles are thinner. They are still substantial though so that isn't necessarily a bad thing in my opinion. The suede did seem a lighter pill, if that makes sense. However, the ones that I was looking at had a printed interior and I'm not sure the printing on the suede could have come through as well had the suede been thicker. Just a thought. I guess my bigger point is if the leather is thinner and the handles are thinner why is the bag still the same price?
Sorry for throwing my sour opinion of this particular situation and product launch on you all. That was never my intention.

Thanks for the clarification on the "confirmed". I wondered if the suede was thinner due to the print on them. Nothing sour about your opinion.

Ok so only one item I ordered last week has gone into sold out status on it's product page and the other three are still showing as pre-orders on their product pages. I'm really hoping I'm in the clear with my orders. Y'all have me worried now they're going to cancel them.

CS emailed me back and said that my purple rogue 25 is on extended backorder with no restock date and asked if I wanted to cancel my order. So I'm guessing this means the May 27th date listed in my account is meaningless?

In my response I meant to say that the change in weight is not deterring me from purchasing the bag and it doesn't necessarily mean the quality has gone down. These changes could be because they have patches and print on the leather. If we hadn't been longtime purchasers of Rogues we probably wouldn't have noticed the difference. We're just used to the heaviness. I was thrown off by the lightness of the Rogue shoulder bag. The best thing is to check them out for yourself. I didn't look at any of the newer plain colors because I'm not in the market for more Rogues. The novelty of the Dark Fairytale drew me to this one.

I think I'd let it stand. Did you order from NM too? If so, I'd let both orders stand. (If not, then do it) Hedge your bets so maybe one order will be fulfilled.

Gotcha, thanks! My last purchase was also in Melon like you, and I thought that was heavy. I love the leather though, I can't imagine it getting thinner!
