I sent an inquiry into Coach regarding my 3 orders (all of which say backordered). I inquired about the ship date, particularly given all items are showing online with "item will ship 5/14" under them. I was told that all of my items are backordered at least till the end of May and will ship at that time if inventory is available.
I ended up going into my local store today. I saw the two Rogues I was interested in. I'm glad I saw them in person. While nice, they didn't scream at me like I had thought. The army green rogue is not much different, if at all, from Olive. It is MUCH lighter too, which is great (confirmed that the construction of the bag has been modified to make it lighter) but then why keep the $795 price point?
I ended up cancelling my online order. I personally think I got swept up in the whole secret launch, etc. and put orders in on a whim. I really don't get the online order inventory thing though. In bad taste, IMO.
I went to my store last night and tried out the black Rogue with patches and immediately felt the change in the weight. The top handles are also thinner. I still plan on getting it but who knows about the items I ordered online. My SA put in the order for the card case and I ordered the red duffle. I don't think I'll be too disappointed if I don't get those since I really don't need another bag. Their system makes no sense.

Just checked in with my SA. There are zero purple Rogue in JAX. [emoji33] All are in stores! So basically the e-Bates I used last night is probably no good and I won't get my bag before the 14th! [emoji20]

Well damn, I really hope this launch doesn't get screwed up. I'm going to be pissed if I don't get my orders. How can there be 0 in JAX?!

You've gotta be kidding me. This basically guarantees that I won't get one, especially since they do not send bags from US stores up to Canada, and they seem to serve US orders first anyway due to some F'd up fulfillment logic. I am not pleased.

I'm thisclose to quitting Coach after all the times they've screwed me over on orders.

I totally agree, shopping shouldn’t feel like playing the lottery.

Oh no! I didn't know about the shipping priority based on location! I thought they fill orders as received in sequence. Ugh! I don't blame you for wanting to quit Coach. I am on the verge of leaving as they keep locking me out of shopping FOS.

Oh hell NO, they do NOT fulfill orders in the order they are received. I've been bltching about this for years. It is not first come first served as it should be. I might order on Monday and you order on Wednesday, but your order can go out on Thursday and mine a week later. :annoyed:

I think it was during the Black Friday sale. I had checked out prior to someone else here (I am definitely NOT begrudging that person! I'm glad they got the bag!!), but her order was fulfilled first, and then the bag ran out of supply so I didn't get one.

I'm still pissed off at FOS because they mysteriously decided not to refund my money for the bag in $hitty condition that I returned and chose not to get a replacement for. It's been at JAX for a month now, and when I called, they had no record of any refund in progress.

Then there's the fact that I was unable to check out with my usual account on the main Coach site anymore, so I had to create a whole new account just to place this Dark Fairytale order...
