I apologize for bringing Jackie and Susa's resolution to the forum. That was Susa's news to share, not mine. I am ashamed of myself for fanning fires because that is not ME at all. I said sarcastic, snotty things, and I am embarrassed I wrote them. I don't cause problems on our forum. I never have. I don't know what got into me that night. But when I am wrong, I say I am wrong. I did find out about Susa's replacement bag, but it was not my obligation to report it. It was Susa's. I am sincerely sorry I caused more trouble. Sorry to all the people I upset with my ugly words. I hope everyone on BE will forgive me, and I promise never to pull such a hurtful stunt again. Susa, I am truly sorry.

Jackie is asking her atelier if they do have the taupe matte leather in stock (without any lines), if the leather is in stock, and the EM can be done quickly ( I am not willing to wait another few weeks, since now it is almost 4 months that I ordered), then Jackie is prepared to exchange my zebra against another EM
The atelier has not yet responded about leather stock
if the leather will not be available, then we have to see
so the solution depends on some factors

Okay. just an fyi: I received a new Root I'm Beautiful today with brass hardware today. Is beautiful, except that most of the hardware is brass, but the side loops that the messenger strap buckles onto are the old gold. So that the newer brass buckle snaps/buckles onto an "older" gold loop. I KNOW BE has brass loops, though, as they're on the front of the bag. Going to write Jackie today, but in case others want that consistency, keep an eye out.
That is crazy.
They should have just waited for more if they ran out. I hope the loops can easily be removed and replaced.- Status
