Hello Bonnie, well I am in Germany, I am sleeping when you US girls are posting here due to the the time difference ( +6 to NY, +8 to CA)

what Moonfancy told was not known to me, Moonfancy seemed to know more and much earlier than me !!!

I emailed yesterday with Jackie , and only yesterday we got closer and are trying to find a solution which suits both of us

So, I had not yet the time to post anything definitive about this, I do like to post facts and there war IMO not yet something factual to poste

jackie wanted to get back to me today ..........

I know of course that everybody wants to know the outcome, and of course I will not forget to tell you, but nothing happened to far

I was indeed very surprised when this morning I opened this thread :wondering

*lol* indeed, this woked me up, my eyes got really big, I had to read this several times ..........

it seems a bit bizarre to me, that third parties are informed about a possible solution days earlier then me ............. what can I say

well, you learn new things every day

I'm speculating, but I think Moonfancy wanted to do right even if it meant disclosing her private conversations with Jackie, so she got a bit eager..and certainly she meant no harm! This is not my impression of her in any way at all..this lady is doing a great job in animal rescue!!:smile1:

No, no snow yet...but darn cold and windy..uff! Hope you in Germany will do better than last year ;)

I just read the last 10 pages!

I strongly believe moonfancy thought susa had already been informed...

In any case, it'd be Jackie's fault for disclosing this info to Moonfancy before getting back to Susa, wouldnt it?

I am in Spain and it is sunny and not very cold here at the moment... but i am stuck at home with my 3 yo sick little boy (very strong cold, which doesnt prevent him from playing with his model motorbikes ALL day long)...

but I was quite amazed reading this and asking me something which has not come to a conclusion yet

:wtf:Ladies, it looks like things turned a bit ugly last night. Can we try and not always take things so personally? BE is a business, and there will be mistakes. It's part of the growing process. It is up to them how they want to handle these problems. In turn, the consumer will determine if BE's response is acceptable. It is not up to any of us to grow Jackie's business. It is up to Jackie.

I want you to know that I want BE to do well. I love the bags, and I have only had one problem (that was not even their fault), which they resolved quickly when they did not need to. This was prior to Megs and Vlad asking me to mod this forum. So, I have always felt strongly about their customer service. However, it is up to BE to maintain or lose other customers. It is not my job or yours. BE must weigh the cost of resolving an issue in terms of monetary loss or customer loss. Remember, we support BE by purchasing their bags. It is up to them to maintain their customers!

This forum is for discussion, good or bad. I do not want to see another personal attack on anyone for any reason. If you don't like what someone is saying, please take it to PM or ignore them. Now, for those of you that come here to post negative comments for whatever reason, please keep in mind who your audience is. Personally, I would expect to ruffle some feathers if I went to another forum and said nothing but negative things. People visit the sub forums because they like the bags. KWIM?

Now, shall we continue on as friends? It's the weekend, and those of us that work are probably looking forward to a good one.;)

You want to "think" how "we" react... You fabricate utter speculations around the leather from the limited leather sale..You obviously know the mindset of susa and how she thinks, though it would suit her to bring her thoughts forward herself..and now you also want to run Jackie's business by deciding what her stock bags should consist of!!

I could add a lot more , but these are the speculations from your side, which first comes to my mind!

I"m just now reading your post and I find your tone way out of line. But,

For the record, I'm not telling anyone here how to feel. I think it's fine for us all to have various opinions and I welcome that actually. I'm just providing my own opinion that I certainly have the right to do so.

Now, to answer your question about my speculations. I"m afraid they are not that. Susa is a PF friend and I've read all the emails from Jackie. I think you'd be quite surprised. Please do try and get your facts straight Bonnie beforehand.

P.S. And Bonnie just one more point. I was only asking if the leather's on a limited supply were substandard? Susa had asked that very same question to BE and received a vague response so I was trying to ask other women here if that was the case or not. If so, I felt the ladies should just be aware of it. But, I was in no means implying that every bag from a limited sale will have defects. I"m certain there have been many bags from those sales that never had an issue. Furthermore, in one of Jackie's emails she stated clearly that Susa had received a discount from the bag in her explaination of why she wasn't offering any help at that point. And with that reaction I was asking the question very logically!

I am really glad this seems to be moving towards a resolution for Susa.

I would also like to say that i answered on of Lovebags posts yesterday about the limited leather and i answered it the way i think she intended it, I don't think she meant anything other than asking innocently as she didn't herself purchase from the sale.

Thanks for being a wonderful mod Suzi. I am looking forward to the weekend but it is going to be a very rainy English one. I could have swum home from the cinema last night :p

Suzi I respect you immensely and appreciate your post.

I think Bonnie stated it well.......Susa is a big girl and can speak for herself. Whether a solution will be reached and when, is between her and Jackie.

It would be nice to have a thread similar to the one in the RM subforum....without any witch-hunts and personal vendettas.

As Bonniekir says, my Limited Leather Sale bag was absolutely perfect and I have found no strange markings on any of my BE Matte Leather bags either. Matte is actually my favourite BE leather of all and I am not in the least concerned about buying more items made with it.
