I listed a brand new pair of Pharrell Sneakers and ended up getting 10 bucks for them. MCM sunglasses were 11. At these prices I could have given them away. Think I will stick to Poshmark or second street.

Poshmark can be just as bad. I call it Bargain Basement Posh, because everyone's offers are super lowball, regardless of original price, brand, or condition. Best these days to either give things away (try friends and family first, if you're lucky you can get a little trading action going) or scout out a consignment shop that takes what you've got. The one down the street from me has been a great resource. No fuss, no muss. I just bring in a box of stuff a few times a year, they email me a week later with what they've taken, and I get a nice surprise in the form of store credit or cash at the end of every month.I listed a brand new pair of Pharrell Sneakers and ended up getting 10 bucks for them. That’s how I feel about giving them my banking info. I’m stuck with either giving them $10 for processing fee for a check or store credit 😔I had purchased an item from them and decided to sell it back. They listed it for $45 and it sold. The check I received was for $2! I should have just gifted it away for free. I didn't realize they charged $10 to issue a check. Really? There is no way in you-know-what that I'd ever give this company my SS# though, who knows what they'd do with it. They are NOT the place to consign if you have low value items and wish to be paid my check. Such a joke tbh.

Get a spa and replacement handle from hermes itself .It might cost you but I think resale would be much better with it .JmoI am extremely upset. I shipped the RealReal my vintage k28 for quote and after 2 MONTHS OF NOT HEARING ANYTHING they shipped my bag back today with the handle folded down 170 degrees, see the photo WTF. Because this is vintage the handle was already loose, and unpacking it it's even more damaged coming back than before. This tear in the handle wasn't even here previously. Not sure what to do because the bag was already hard to sell with a tear in the upper U of the handle, they've just damaged my property without regard, making it even harder for me to sell this. I bought this at a condition not even as described on VC and shouldve filed a credit card dispute all they offered was 200 off. 🤬 All I wanted to do was sell this bag because Fashionphile wouldn't even take it. I even had a crazy thought of small claims court. Any suggestions for if I should get the handle remade? If so where? The original one is gone at this point and I wonder if having a new handle would help resale value at this point more than having the original broken handle. I would get the handle repaired if I was keeping it but I don't like the size.
Yes, my advice as well and maybe you can file a complaint with the realreal for damaging your bag so they can pay the spa quoteGet a spa and replacement handle from hermes itself .It might cost you but I think resale would be much better with it .Jmo

Agree with all the above. You may have to escalate on social media to get the attention ofDo you have photos of the bag before you sent it in. I have a feeling It will become a he said she said situation unfortunately. I’m sorry you’re going through this.
I would, but I thought Hermes wouldn't take items to be spa'd if they think it's been handled by a 3rd party? I am not certain, but I suspect that my item has been repainted over the years.Get a spa and replacement handle from hermes itself .It might cost you but I think resale would be much better with it .Jmo

In addition I would file a complaint on BBB. Looks like TRR is accredited on there so there's a good chance a higher up will address your concern.Agree with all the above. You may have to escalate on social media to get the attention of
some higher ups.. this is unacceptable, be as pro-active as you can & sorry that you are dealing
with TRR on this..
I do, if you zoom into the handle in the front bag photos you can tell it wasn't torn to this extent. My bag may not be in the best condition, but the handle wasn't torn showing through the black top layer exposing the brown leather.Do you have photos of the bag before you sent it in. I'd suspect the front flap, you can see in this photo how the texture of the leather looks different from the texture of the body under the flap. I also cleaned my bag when I first bought it with a microfiber cloth and black coloring rubbed off, which made me suspect it was painted, but not sure if it could've been dirtyness in the leather pores due to age. I would have interest in replacing the handle, but only if it would be worth getting way more for the bag than selling as is. For example I wouldn't see it as replacing the handle unless reselling it would cover the handle replacement charge and add extra resell value. If you think the bag has been handled by a 3rd party, Hermes will not take it in.
Can you tell where on the bag it has been repainted?
Do you have any interest in replacing the handle or would you prefer to sell it as is?
Would still be pro-active with TRR & perhaps get estimates from repair sources that could fix the handle
A previous thread suggested emailing the CEO, so perhaps I'll have to try this if I can figure out the correct email address.Agree with all the above. You may have to escalate on social media to get the attention of
