Thanks so much Ladies! I have winter bags, but they are packed under my bed. I had back surgery a few months ago, and am still not permitted to bend. I will post them when I'm able.

I love seeing everyone's gems!

Just got this Genoveva bag from Aigner. Not sure if I should keep it. The leather is yummy and I love the closure mechanism but the style is a bit plain.

That bag is so elegant! I recently bought a few vintage bags but I have no time to take pics yet. I'm kinda addicted to vintage nowadays. But still very wary to buy more as I don't know who I can seek to help authenticate vintage bags from less well known brand? Somehow I don't have the impression that paid authenticator out there r familiar with vintage bags like Koret, Walter Kattan, Barry Kieselstein, Carlos Falchi, Pierre Balmain, Willardy etc. Anyone here know which authenticator to recommend?

That bag was part of a limited edition to celebrate Aigner Munich 50 years anniversary. No idea who Etienne Aigner is but Aigner Munich is a German luxury brand with beautiful well made bags. I didn't know about them till last year when I saw the store in Kudam, Berlin and later on in Dubai. I own a Cybill M bag in navy blue and I adore it. It's made of grained cowhide and it's gorgeous. I'm thinking of buying the pink one but have to wait till I'm in Berlin again.

That bag is gong, wish we could get the German brand here!

So glad to have found this long running thread. I found this handbag at goodwill. The leather tag inside reads Etienne Aigner. It's a deep purple/red soft leather, which I assume is oxblood color. It's in great shape. I'm glad to know there are no fakes out there but can someone tell me when it was made. unnamed (4).jpg unnamed (3).jpg

Not sure of age but leather looks so soft and smushy, a great find! I'm guessing '90's for age.

My mother had this bag in the top of her closet, don't think I ever saw her use it. It is marked Etienne Aigner, 9851 Bordo. Can anyone tell me when it was made, original pricing, anything that would help me decide what to do with it. Thanks so much!
