My vintage Aigner collection. I don't carry them that often but I am just in love with them.

Very nice. Classic looks that will always be fashionable in my opinion.

Oh wow! Thanks. These are harder for me to authenticate than a Coach. I run into Aigner bags all the time for amazing buys.

I honestly have never seen a fake Aigner bag. Fake Coaches, too many to count.

Here's something interesting. Has anyone ever checked out the AignerMunich website? The bags are gorg, and very high end. Up there with Celine and Burberry in Germany. Probably what they are trying to make the US version into again. Sadly, they do not ship to the US. Anyway, the German end never want to lesser quality bags as the US did. Both are owned by completely different entities.

My fav John Romaine and there is a story behind it. I fell in love with this bag in high school( late '60's - '73 ) my Mom would not let me buy it because it was open on the top, she said my stuff would fall out and people would pick my pockets. Many years later I found her on EBay and nabbed her!ImageUploadedByPurseForum1433611855.055510.jpg

This is my oldest and largest, late '50's to early '60's. I didn't realize it was an Aigner til I opened it up!View attachment 3022398View attachment 3022399

These bags were made by Marcolino to compete with the Aigner bags back in the ''60's. They are called John Romaine, and every bit as nice as the Aigner bags. These are from my summer collection.View attachment 3022416View attachment 3022417
