Yesterday I wore my LV bag for the first time. The weather here was very warm so a Nic and Zoe skirt, St. Johns tank top, Balenciaga SQ jacket, and Rene Caovilla sandals. I took my MIL to a doctor's appointment and then to pick up her jewelry that was being resized. The bag was really comfortable to wear and held so much more than I thought it would.

Fantastic look Meg! I'm so glad you like the Pallas :D

Wow!
Those sandals are gorgeous - as is everything else

Thanks, Nascar. I got them from Saks on final clearance. Not something I usually do with things that I am not sure will fit correctly. They are a little narrow for my wide forefoot, but I do love them. They are sure comfortable and because of the bling worked nicely with a casual skirt and are great for pushing a wheelchair.

The more I see the Pallas the better I like the size. This is the PM, right?

Yes, it is the PM size. It held my mid-size Chanel wallet (normally I would have changed to a smaller wallet, but didn't have time) my glasses, house and car keys, pen, phone, lipstick, small lotion, small coin purse that I keep meds in and nasal spray for my sinus infection.

What a good idea! Thank you for the link.

Thanks for the link. I just bought some to try on a few bags that need conditioning.
Before I forget. Since you girls have expensive bags, I'm starting to get nervous. I don't know how this product will work on different leathers. It says all leathers, on the packaging, but my MG bag is veg leather...kind of untreated, like a saddle or LV vachetta. It does condition and water-proof, so try it on the bottom of the bag, first, just to make sure it doesn't change the color. It worked great on my MG bag!

what a great look, Meg -- love your Pallas!

WTH???
A "sweet old lady", indeed.
Evidently you weren't carrying your gorgeous Chanel/Hermes bag.
Bast@rd!
I love the pearls, MK. I don't know much about pearls but these look lovely and I bet will be versatile. Good for you!
Thanks, SQ, I think I just stood there with my mouth open! And I'm loving these pearls.

Did he call you that to your face? What is the context??

The pearls are rough? Explain.
Very pretty![/QUOTE
Yes, he said it to my face! I asked if he needed to see my id as i had to sign for my pkg, and he said "no, if i cant trust a sweet little old lady like you, who can i trust" I suppose he meant it in a nice way, but still! Anyway, natural pearls are rough if you look at them very closely. Supposedly they should feel rough againt your teeth (Who knows, an old tale?)

You should have smacked that clerk with your handbag, like a little old lady is supposed to, LOL! And your pearls are beautiful! I love pearls. Wish I had more..
Yes!! Thats just what i should have done!

Why, that no-good umpity-ump! What a lot of nerve! And it's not even accurate... well, "sweet" is right, but you are nowhere near looking like an old lady, dear!

I remember the first time a sales clerk called me "ma'am"... I went home and cried! Then I marched out of the house and bought myself a new pair of red shoes.

As for the pearls, I don't know anything about pearls, but yours look beautiful. The only real (as opposed to Majorica) pearls I own are a short double strand that my parents bought me for my 16th birthday. I keep them for sentimental reasons; the last time I wore them was when The Hubster & I got married, nearly 37 years ago. I just checked them and you're right... they're slightly rough!

Wear them in good health, and the next time you see that clerk, see if you can manage to step on his toe with a pair of your heaviest boots.:[/QUOTE

Thanks so much Elaine, and I had my combat boots on too! Well, instead of crying I had to tell all you lovely ladies.

I love them MK!!! they are beautiful.. :
I have Tahitian pearls that I wear almost every day - would love a white some day.

Forget about that clerk - you are cool casual fab and wonderful :hugs:
:supacool::wlae::flowers:

I once was mistaking for being DH's mother :-s  ..that's for being a cougar :giggles:
Well that's great! Go cougar!! Thanks for the encouragement!

Love the two strands together. A very good look. I have been wearing my mother's pearls a lot lately and sometimes my strand with it. Other times I use a pearl pendant with it which I like as well. Just read an article talking about how in pearls are now.
Thanks, Izzy. It's actually one strand doubled, and I can wear it several ways. I need to read that article!
