Skyqueen, I suppose we should be wearing our Mulberry Aquarius charm on our bags since it is sill in our sign. I put mine somewhere and can't find it!! :nogood:

I'm so in love with my Buster charm right now...that's the one I'm using! Although now's the time to use the zodiac charm..........

Mulberry has Zodiac bag charms? Or only Aquarius ones?

Nothing for us Capricorns????

These are older bag charms, Elaine. I can't remember how long ago. Can you, Izzy? Mulberry had all the signs.

A lot of Aquarians on this thread!
I am actually right on the cusp. My birthday is the 20th so I am officially a Pisces.
Sorry the bronze Chanel didn't work for you meg - I'll bet you find a nice one SCP :smile1:

Oh yes .....

I was sorry it didn't work out too but there are a couple of Chanel boutiques at SCP and there is one in Bloomingdales as well which is where I found my black bag. That is assuming I don't see something at LV or Hermes.

Aquarius, in Feb, is tricky...the month is so short!
Good luck with your bag hunt! If I know you, you'll find a beauty!

Here's a pic, Elaine...I don't know what the Capricorn charm looks like. I've used this on a lot of my GHW bags. Cute and well made!
Thank God for my iPhone 6...even my pics come out better!

No, I don't because it is old. When I saw yours I thought why haven't I seen this but it does ring a bell. Looked through a lot of extras I have and found it in its dust cover. it is so old that my dust cover is brown and it's been a long time since Mulberry used brown dust covers. I think mine was bought in London.

That is the exact same as my charm but mine had been put up so long it's still not even tarnished. If I can find it (forgot where I put it) I will post a picture of it as well.

@ Elaine, I sent an email to you showing the listing on eBay of the Mulberry charm for your zodiac sign. Still can't find mine.

SCP is South Coast Plaza located in Costa Mesa in Southern California. It has all and I mean all the premier designer shops in one place purses, shoes, clothing and jewelry. The mall is huge and often I only get to a handful of stores when I am there since I take my MIL with me for the excursion. She has to do the trip in a wheelchair with me pushing. There are a lot of up and down ramps that feel more like little mountains as I have gotten older. My birthday is in about 3 weeks.

SCP is quite a scary place to wallets. Too much to see, too much to buy.

I used to travel to California for work. Switched jobs so haven't been there for 3 years. SCP wasn't like any thing I had seen before.

I've been to 5th Ave, soho etc but never saw all the designers in one place. Luckily I wasn't into Chanel then, mostly Prada, which I could find at home.

I also decided if it couldn't fit in my suitcase, then I couldn't buy it. I was already dealing with a carry-on, laptop, coat and handbag. The carry-on was pretty full between laptop, medicine, glasses and anything I couldn't be without. I checked my clothes but would never put anything expensive in check thru. That pretty much solved the problem although I did find a pair of Stuart Weitzman shoes on sale I managed to stuff in my carry-on :)

Found this on another thread...thought you girls would find it interesting.

I was surprised over Ralph Lauren, anyone else surprised by anything?

I had just read an article saying Ralph Lauren was taking some of the purchase power away from European handbag makers. Gucci was low and I am not surprised with some of the problems I experienced with their products last year.

megt10 - thank you! Or maybe not!!! :graucho: I googled South Coast Plaza and I think I visited their briefly a couple of years ago. I was in Anaheim at a convention - got bored and went on a shopping expedition. My SO was with me and he had a Nordstrom's addiction :D (thanks to you know who). We covered every Nordstrom's Rack and Nordstroms we could locate. He had to ship some of his purchases home. :lolots: .I usually travel to Long Beach in January - but decided not to this year. Glad I didn't - now I can plan a trip to take my granddaughter to Disneyland.

You are wonderful for taking you MIL . Don't know about you ladies, but I am quickly approaching that age and I hope someone is willing to include me on these types of excursions. <lol>

It is cute, Luv2!

Look at how low Marc Jacobs has dropped! I guess it isn't just me that's been disappointed by his newest lines. And I was surprised that Fendi was relatively high. I adore my (one and only!) Fendi bag that I bought this past November, but I thought that was just me. ;)

Thanks for the chart, SQ... fascinating statistics.

I made chili yesterday in the slow-cooker, in preparation for The Game. We had some last night... yum, yum, even if I do say so myself!:D I made tons, so we'll be having it for a while, unless I decide to freeze it. I rarely eat beef, so I might end up freezing it in small containers for The Hubster to thaw out on nights when I'm down for the count.

Enjoy watching, for everyone who is watching! May the best team win!:smile1:

I am sure I will find something. I have already got a head start. I ordered 2 shawls that I have been eyeing and am having them sent to Hermes at SCP. Shipping is free if you do that. That way I also can exchange them if they aren't exactly what I want and am getting it in before the price increase on the 10th of this month. They will do an even exchange I have been told even with the price increase. Now look at the money I have already saved :p

Yes, SCP has it all and can be overwhelming. There are a few other malls in the country that are similar. The mall at Tyson's Corner in Virginia is similar. I shopped there when I lived in Virginia. I grew up in SoCal and went to SCP as a kid. It was nothing like it is today.
