Honestly I kept going back and forth about it thinking it’s too big. But I do agree that the bag looks bigger in pictures than in real life. It’s really a good size bag! Any smaller would be really tight inside even though I carry very little typically. But it’s nice to know I can fit more when I need to. Also, smaller size would look off carrying on the crook of my arm.

Here is also a picture of me going out to brunch for Valentine’s day this weekend (please excuses the shredded lint paper on the floor… thanks to my puppy)! For your reference, I’m 5”2’-3’ and size 6.

Soooo beautiful! What are the dimensions of this bag? I want this size but get so confused with the different names for this size so want to be sure I get the right one by double checking the dimensions

Hi! I’m buying my first Chanel bag (FINALLY). I thought I wanted a classic flap but was underwhelmed with it in caviar (hubby said we can get it later in Lambskin for special events despite price increases, but we think I should go with a more durable bag for my first). I tried on the small/mini coco handle in blue and fell in love with it! I noticed the leather on the coco handles just looked better than the CFs I saw. However, I’m leaning towards the slightly bigger size (medium?) in black. They didn’t have any in stock so we just left to think about what to do. Should I call the store and ask to be put on a waitlist? I’d much rather purchase from boutique since it’s almost $1k more on resale sites! This is my first time shopping at Chanel and I’m confused how to go about getting this bag. Thanks!

It’s about 7.5 inch tall and 12 inch wide. I think most resell market calls it “small” size still.
I wish you good luck on finding your perfect coco handle!! It’s definitely my favorite chanel bag! :)

Finally joining the Coco Handle Club after a few months on the waiting list. This is my Small (24cm) 22P Black Coco Handle with Burgundy handle. She’s smaller in real life but such a cutie and fits my essentials.

Here she is (still have the paper on the strap).

I do have a question if someone can help me. On the chain strap on both ends the leather sticks out a bit. Is this normal? Seems odd to me. It’s my first CCH so would appreciate some guidance thanks ladies

Hello All!

I have FINALLY purchased my first chanel bag! I had been waiting on a black caviar cf for a while and my SA got in a caviar black cch. I went to the store and fell in love. It is the medium(?) size. I feel that its the perfect size for my day to day items. This bag has the edge stitching and I was wondering does anyone know of any problems with the edge stitching since it wraps around the outside of the trim? I feel that with wear and rubbing it can wear down and break.
