hi ladies, I got really lucky to get my dream cch.. this one surprised me cos I expressed my interest 1 month ago before lunar new year and now it is here. Had a hard choice deciding size but felt with the center zip, the medium (29cm) fits more and better. And this is the 22p and i find it shiny and no problem with stitching! Also was deciding between lizard handle and this but find it a seamless look with same colour black. Oh and seems like it's not possible to just walk in and get one hahah and heard my local store got wait list too but not as long as classic flap and the mini flap

Now about the caviar; what I loved about my last black coco handle from 20A was the puffy, shiny caviar. It had the black handle And no edge stitching (some people have strong preferences for edge stitching, but I love both styles).
When I saw the 21K black cch pictures, I was in LOVE; glossy caviar and shiny gold hardware, exactly what I love. So I reached out in December to one of my SA’s at Nordys, since I had a bunch of gift cards, to see if he could locate one. But alas, all 21K in that color way was gone. Meanwhile, here on the Purse Forum, another member posted how disappointed she was in the black cch with black handle from 22P. She actually had both bags - she had purchased 21K for her mother, and then bought 22P for herself. She said the 22P cch with black handle was not as nice as the 21K and that the 22P had a bit of a wonky handle and the caviar was a little dull. Dull caviar was definitely not what I wanted, so that was disappointing to hear.
So even though I had originally wanted a black handle cch, when my SA texted me a picture of the 22P with burgundy handle, and I saw how shiny the caviar was, I said YES :smile:

BUT, I still was nervous having not seen the bag in person. And not sure I would love the burgundy handle.

So if you are still reading this long post, LOL, it has a happy ending; I love the bag, love the edge stitching and burgundy handle. The one thing I do NOT love is the new price. Small coco handles jumped from $4600 to $5000 for 22P. :sad:
My beautiful 20A coco handle was $3700 less than two years ago. But in Chanel Land, that is actually not too bad of a hike. I think we all are used to the ever-increasing price cycles.

YA IKR THE JUMP IS CRAZY! But I told myself it is the time to jump to it and not wait for another increase. Or else it is no longer within reach for a cch

I also love the iridescent blue, but I needed a pink, I think it is a really very very beautiful bag, both in blue and pink ... very exclusive.
I will post photos when it arrives.
