We don’t have a Dior or Chanel boutique in Charleston, so I watched videos on what each holds and how happy people were with their bags. I went with the LD as it was on my list before my shoulder injury & everyone who had them loved them, plus I already have Chanel CF’s in a couple sizes. I also heard a couple Coco reviews where people returned them because they felt they were difficult to open due to the way the handle and flap are designed.

I think for variety I’d still like to add the Coco to my collection. I will have to purchase pre-loved since there’s no boutique close to home. I’d love to hear everyone’s thoughts on how difficult or easy they are to open, and what size would be best for a day bag as I’m a little confused about the sizes. I’m looking for a size that will easily fit (without overstuffing) an LV mini pochette, small wallet, key pouch, small coin purse, sunglasses in larger hard case, small packet of tissues, plastic case for a couple extra face masks, and a travel pack of Purell hand sanitizer wipes.

i’m very sorry for your shoulder injury, broken bones are no joke.

i have medium/old small coco handle and it is really to open and close. the only thing that might not fit is glasses witha hardcase.

Can I get your thoughts on these 2 bags? The first one is from 2021 and is a little more orangey. The second one is from 2020 and is considered the dark pink. Thank you!

Hi! Is this a Coco Handle? The shape is really off, at least in the photos. And the handle leather is way too smooth. I’d be sure to get this authenticated.

Great! I like the dark pink. It has more a blue undertone vs the orange red. The dark pink can be year round while the orange red might be tough in the winter. And finally, the small over the mini for sure! This bag, as cute as it is, does not have a lot of usable space, so I vote the small size.

By the way, for what it’s worth, I have a dark pink mini o-case and matching credit card holder. I wanted red thinking it was a classic color, but they did not have a matching set, so I went with the dark pink.
OMG... I love it, more than I thought I would. The color goes with everything, hard to describe, but a great foundational color that packs a punch. I would not hesitate to buy dark pink again, even over a red.

I finally picked up my medium CCH in black and champagne gold HW feom 21P collection from the boutique. However, I noticed a few things and I am a bit confused so can someone help me decide please?
1. The handle is in black caviar and not the burgundy lizard embossed. So which bag is a better choice? One with black caviar handle or lizard embossed burgundy handle for a black and Champagne gold HW combination ?
2. The inside pockets of the bag are not stiff, they are hanging outside on a brand new bag from the boutique. Is this normal?
3. The plastic on the double CC around the lock has thin plastic hanging out. I saw some unboxing videos which had stiff plastic wrapped perfectly around the double CC. I just want to be sure that it’s a brand new bag and not something which was returned by another customer to the boutique after using it a few times.
..Someone help with the above 3 points so that I can decide please. This is my first Chanel bag and I want to be sure to make the right call, whether to keep it or return.

number 2 is normal, you can read my post about the loose inner pockets a few post above.

number 1 is something you have to decide for yourself. every season has different handles.

number 3 can happen while packaging the bag in stock room. my cc locks almost never have the plastic because my SA always opens up the bags to inspect the inside before shipping them to me and the plastic lifts up during this process, to prevent tarnishing she takes it all off completely.

i feel like you are not satisfied with the bag, so maybe you should return it and wait for a bag that doesn't give you any doubts.

#2 was a major concern and you have answered that.
#3 was not a big concern but your response helped as it’s good to know some bags do not have plastic around the lock.
#1 - I dont really like the burgundy handle, it’s the lizard embossing that I like. So would have preferred a black lizard embossed handle which I don’t think I have seen so far. So I am good with black caviar.
Having said that, your response is helpful and I have decided to keep my bag :)

Thank you, thank you! Is it similar to 18B? I think that was the season that they had a CF that was considered raspberry but looked more reddish? I wanted more of a red bag and I was hoping this would suffice :-)
