number 2 is normal, you can read my post about the loose inner pockets a few post above.

number 1 is something you have to decide for yourself. every season has different handles.

number 3 can happen while packaging the bag in stock room. my cc locks almost never have the plastic because my SA always opens up the bags to inspect the inside before shipping them to me and the plastic lifts up during this process, to prevent tarnishing she takes it all off completely.

i feel like you are not satisfied with the bag, so maybe you should return it and wait for a bag that doesn't give you any doubts.

#2 was a major concern and you have answered that.
#3 was not a big concern but your response helped as it’s good to know some bags do not have plastic around the lock.
#1 - I dont really like the burgundy handle, it’s the lizard embossing that I like. So would have preferred a black lizard embossed handle which I don’t think I have seen so far. So I am good with black caviar.
Having said that, your response is helpful and I have decided to keep my bag

Thank you, thank you! Is it similar to 18B? I think that was the season that they had a CF that was considered raspberry but looked more reddish? I wanted more of a red bag and I was hoping this would suffice

Does anyone else find the small size coco handle (the 3rd smallest size, bigger than mini and extra mini) with leather lining too heavy? I find that the top handle digs into my arms and the shoulder strap digs into my shoulder when I fill the bag. I really want to like this bag but have been not enjoying it very much due to the weight. Any suggestions to fix that problem or should I let the bag go?

The mini size is perfect and mine is fabric lined. It just doesn't fit as much.

Ah sounds like you have the same issues but have kept it to use once in while. The bag is so beautiful to look at and touch. It’s also got a Chanel classic look with a great price tag! I posted about it on YouTube as well and everyone is counseling me to wait and decide.

I’m past the return period so maybe I’ll try using it a few more times. I did get a couple alternate straps to try to make this work as a shoulder and crossbody bag. Having the removable strap option is really nice and not found on many other Chanel bags!

Well, if you can't return it, just enjoy it and deal with it. I do the same... just deal with this beautiful but annohying bag. I love this bag for the shape, but I hate it for usability. Plus... those dividers are worthless! I wish it were just one big open space.

I want to point out another thing about this bag. I really hate to whine about this bag as it is so gorgeous, but you should know this in case you wish to sell it (as in... sell it sooner than later). The bottom corners wear out fast. You would think the feet help it, but nope. It's because of the way the bag folds at the bottom, so the corner edges actually are lower than the feet and touch the bottom. So yes... my bag already has wear at the bottom corners. Contrast that to my other Chanels, many which I've used constantly for years. They have far less wear and some even none at all.

On the upside, it really is a gorgeous bag. I use my bag now when I know I will not have to walk a lot and "carry" my bag. It's a beautiful bag.

i have a leather lined medium/old small. i find it the perfect size and i wear mine crossbody. i don't think it is any heavier than my 226 reissue.

Super helpful to know! I definitely worry about bumping into things when I wear the small coco handle crossbody. It's much wider than my frame.

I also started to notice corner wear on my mini coco handle and that one barely touches any hard surfaces because it's so small and I usually have it on my arms or my shoulder. But that one I'm definitely keeping no matter the wear... it's too gorgeous and cute!

I have never seen the hologram sticker placed here in the coco handles and just wanted to know if anyone else’s coco handle mini also has the hologram sticker placed in the centre slip pocket ?

It’s usually on the inside lower corner of the bag. I have never seen the sticker located so up inside a bag.

Hi there

I have some questions for owners of several Cocos!

I am considering to purchase another Coco Handle this year, although they have gone up in price since I bought mine last summer.
I feel that, because they seem to come leather lined again, it would be worth to spend the extra 300€ for me. And on top the Coco was my first love from Chanel

Can you please help with these questions:

Are there any negative aspects to leather lining (other than weight)? Scratches on the inside?

Is there a difference in leather between the seasons regarding wear on the corners?
(My corners have started to wear a tiny bit, mine is from 20P)

Do you experience significant wear on the clasp and metal loop where the chain is attached? Color fading? Scratches?
(Mine is aged ghw and it doesn‘t show wear that easily, my next one would be regular ghw)

Has anyone brought in their Coco to Chanel for a ‚touch up‘ of the corners? How did it work out/how long was it fine?
