I have a Brick Nolita (leather lined with glitter edgepaint!) arriving today!!! So excited. I didn't think there were many fans until this series of posts.

NO IDEA what the interior lining colour will be. It'll be a surprise. Really hoping it's oxblood, though, as that's what was used inside the Brick passport cover.

How exciting! During the Thanksgiving Sale, my store was practically sold out of the Brick Nolita except the display, and even that was gone the following week. I think it's a unique and eye-catching color, definitely stopped me in my tracks to take a closer look! The subtle shine isn't overdone and I'm so glad they didn't use semi-gaudy metallics like they did for the Dinkies.

613C3EEA-D8F1-4225-807D-38C481E90E15.jpeg I forced myself out of the Rogue 25 I’ve been carrying since Christmas to take this little Soho and the Cherries wallet I bought at Coach House to a weekend skating competition. It was perfect for a couple of very busy days when I didn’t want to worry about keeping track of a bag or to keep a big one in my lap in stadium seats already made small by bulky winter jackets.

Please disregard the beat up kitchen table. Fifteen years, three kids, etc.

09F08EB6-89CB-4021-8C21-DF2ED8C3771A.jpeg For those curious about what these bags will comfortable hold (without stuffing them), I have a small trifold wallet, six ring keychain case, LV key case, lipgloss and pen in the main section. You can’t see it but I have a small Sephora mirror and blotting papers in the inner pocket. I carried my phone in the bag’s outer pocket. The phone may slightly stretch the pocket over time (similar to a Dinky), but if it does it will be minor. Since that’s the pocket’s purpose for me, I don’t mind any stretching at all. I wear the pocket against me anyway to keep my phone secure.

After using the bag all of Friday and Saturday, I’m very happy with it. I have two pairs of red boots (short cowboy and casual lace ups) so this bag is a nice complement without looking too matchy. My rink down jacket is a wine shade; while red might typically clash with a more purple burgandy, it looks good with the oxblood strap and sides of the Red Colourblocked Soho.

I almost ordered that as well to go with my 1941 Red trifold wallet (which is lined in Oxblood). If you have any red items, can you let me know if they look good together? I know it's a bit silly to care whether the SLGs in my bags are complementary colours, but it is what it is. [emoji2]
So the Brick Nolita is going back. I'm not a fan of the metallic leather in person, plus this kind of finish seems to amplify and emphasize every single tiny wrinkle in the leather. The lining is also just Brick (though not metallic), so there's no contrast.

To answer your question, I think it does clash with red. IMG_20180107_110253.jpgIMG_20180107_110312.jpg

I have Froggy in the orange metallic and while I think it works for him - I agree it's not optimal on the Nolita. It doesn't seem like it will wear as well on a large piece.

Love that heart! That's not new, is it?

Yikes - yeah, not a fan either. Thanks for taking the pic; I think I'm set now with the SLGs I have. I know there will be some other print (like the cherries) that I really love, and may want to indulge in. I'll wait for something else.

My Bordeaux Soho arrives tomorrow; while I really like it, I think it might be too close to the Red/Oxblood version to own both. I think I'll take it into the Coach store near my work on Tuesday and potentially swap it out for the Melon so I have a summery version instead.

I got it as a gift with purchase last year around Valentine's day. The other side is coated canvas with a white floral print on a red background.

I agree about this. I bought it for the holidays hoping it would be more red (like the Coach pic), but too orange for me and wasn’t feeling it. I did love the glittery edge coating.

Totally agree about the conversations about Nolitas! LOVE them! I have 2 19s (one in pebbled leather, one in canvas) and 1 24 in canvas. 19s are great to carry for wristlets and crossbody. 24 size I like better for crossbody. I use my Dinky straps on them and they are perfect! I like that they are making them with a removable strap on both ends now (mine don’t have them). I definitely would purchase more in different colors and the price point is great (when you can find a good sale)! Mine are boutique. Haven’t bought the outlet version. Any thoughts on comparison?

I don’t own a Soho, but they look really nice. Thought about the 1941 red one, but never pulled the trigger. What color is it colorblocked with? Someone have a pix they can post?

My pics of the Red Soho are above. The straps, sides and bottom are Oxblood (possibly Bordeaux); the strap is included in the pic above so you can see the colour. The red looks duller in the pics than it does it r/l; it's normal glovetanned1941 red.
