Coach Signature Revival (a.k.a. "Archival" trend)

The more I see the new signature stuff, the more I like it. But I can't afford it, so I decided to keep one of the siggy bags I listed, an Optic Chelsea. Here it is along with the other keeper, the patchwork. Oh, and I realized, I made a mistake when I said I've only had leather bags until recently. I totally forgot about non-signature fabric. Duh, lol.

That optic signature has always been my favorite. I had a bigger bag in the blue.opticsatchel034.jpg

Those look like a great size! around here which i have mentioned zillions of times signature bags are everywhere i actually saw a pretty older one today... IMO use what you like, and enjoy. Most people don't look sideways at bags anyways lol.

I agree, I think you should use what you like :) I bought several signature bags (and leather too) from thrift stores recently, but I keep changing my mind re which ones stay and which ones go, lol.

Call me crazy but I found an
old “Op-Art” bag from 2011, and
I can’t help it! I like it!
I was only interested in leather bags from Coach at that time and I didn’t have one when they were popular, but here I am all these years later with it and I think I’ll carry it around for a while.

This reminds me of Marimekko and the 70's- so retro cool!

This is a really interesting thread. Like many posters, I never thought I’d like a signature bag but I’m really getting drawn to them. I think the way Coach has done some of them with the coated canvas and the burnished leather make them like a neutral to carry and super durable. Really considering the camera bag!!!

Since everyone is sharing pics of their older sig stuff, I had to share these. Don’t even remember where I found them, but they are the most warm and comfy snow boots EVER!

After reading all the comments I'm really dismayed with a few. It's one thing to just not like sig, but a few of you had to take it further and bash the outlet and people who carry outlet or sig bags. That's just not cool.

Agreed! Live and let live. Rock the signature look if you love it (I love signature more than all leather)!! Rock all leather if you love that too!!

I have to say that I was in Macy's yesterday and saw the signature Parker with Peony flap and also a "blonde" beechwood colored version of the black, brown, snakeskin and signature Parker with rivets that I purchased a while back, and I really liked the newer blonde version way more than I thought I would. As I purchased peony driving moccasins, previously, maybe I should get the peony Parker to match (and forget about the scalloped edge, floral peony Rogue with rivets, which may not go on sale until Black Friday, possibly)? I just love that particular pink color. I have ruled out getting the peony Charlie and peony Clarkson Hobo due to the silver hardware on them, which won't match the shoes.
