Everything I touch with Blackrocks feels sticky and stays sticky for a long, long time. No amount of polishing or buffing removes the feeling. What am I doing wrong!
Apply it very, very sparingly, rub it in, and rub it off quickly with paper towels or rags.

This used to happen with me too! I think I was using too much. Now I use just a tiny bit, and then when I'm done with a section I buff. And then after the bag sits a while I buff again. Also, and this may be different for others, but I have found if I put the bag out afterwards on a warm day that it soaks it up better. So sometimes I just let the bag sunbathe for a short bit to make it soft instead of sticky.

One more thing that has been mentioned in the past: apply it with your hands. I rub a small amount of it between my palms and basically just give the whole bag a light Shiatsu massage. Therapeutic!

I'd recommend Lincoln EZ Cleaner for Nubuck and Suede. Try spot cleaning the soiled areas. The cleaner will dry without leaving a mark.Blot, don't rub or you'll get a faded patch. For some reason, red dyes tend to be fugitive and prone to fading or lifting. It's a beautiful bag, good luck!

Funny thing but when I read "Lincoln EZ Cleaner" I immediately thought of a yellow liquid in a clear bottle - I went and checked my cleaning supplies and I already have a full bottle! I also found a spray can of Moneysworth Best Suede and Nubuck Cleaner and a brush! I am like a "mad chemist" I have so many bottles and jars of leather products!

Have you guys tried using the EZ Cleaner to remove interior pen marks on unlined bags? Seems like I remember someone (Whateve?) mentioning using it on ink, long ago. I'm looking for confirmation before ordering yet another product, hehe.

No, I haven't but do you have Acetone? I found it here that acetone was safe and I tried it myself and it worked! I even did it today in another newer Madison liner and the ink came right out on the Q-tip. :)

Did the Madison have a suede lining? I've used it successfully on fabric linings before, but not on the suede side of an unlined bag.
Last time I tried acetone on interior suede ink, it made a permanent darkened spot on the outside leather. Not an ink bleed-thru, just somehow turned the leather a couple shades darker where it soaked thru. Ugh! Maybe it was a fluke. Was hoping the EZ Cleaner might work better with no surprises.

No sorry, it was fabric lining.
