I hope I'm posting this in the correct thread (I'm fairly new to this). I'm considering purchasing this bag to rehab but it has a stain. Can anybody tell me how to remove the stain or if I will even be able to remove it?View attachment 3136434View attachment 3136435

It depends. Since you didn't open a claim and the seller agreed to take the bag back, she owes you the sales price and the original shipping. You'll have to pay for the return shipping unless she offers to pay for it. If she had refused to take the return and you had opened a claim and won, she would have been responsible for paying your return shipping as well. But since she is cooperating, you can't open a claim just to get your return shipping. She probably knows this and knows she would lose a claim, so it is cheaper for her to accept the return. You will still have the opportunity to leave feedback, but I wouldn't do that until you've gotten your refund.
I got it for $1.26 plus $8.50 shipping. I can't regret it even if I can't save it, right? I've never had anything from the Gramercy collection.
ETA: I earned 3 cents in ebay bucks, lol!
It's from the same collection. It is even more challenging than the one I bought. At least with black, it shouldn't be that difficult to cover up the worn spots. The mint would be really, really hard. All those white spots look like someone tried to cover up stains with shoe polish, or maybe the color just wore off. The good news is that the texture seems to be undamaged. I think you would have to apply color all over the bag in order to cover up all those spots.Argh. People suck. Why people feel the need to cheat for a measly few dollars is beyond me. In the end, the only people who win are the postal service.
I found another bag that I want that I have zero clue how to rehab... <link>
It's another non-glove tanned bag, similar outer texture to the one you bought, maybe a similar collection? AHHHHHHH I WANT IT SO BAD!!!! I don't suppose someone could give me a step by step tutorial?![]()
Here's the bag I won: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Coach-7004-...N5tqMX3KcgYip2SneZkUI%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc
This is what it will look like when I'm done! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Coa...ck-Italy-98-/262047898938?hash=item3d03459d3a
That is such a cute bag, and a super great deal. Can't wait to see the finished rehab.

Wow you're lucky that's so pretty!I would say, don't pay more for it than you're willing to throw away, but at the price it is at, I might try it. I am not sure what would work to cover it up that would blend in. The finish is similar to saffiano. Others have said it's like LV epi leather.
Here is a link to a picture of mine. It's not perfect but it looks pretty good. Coach called this color Powder Blue, but I called it Mint until Hyacinth filled me in. (thanks as always Ms. Bucket!)

That one has been dunked. It came out cleaner, I don't think any damage happened because of the dunking.
Here's a picture in my car, you can see the green tint a little better in this one.
