Once you find a replacement turn lock you could just attach it through the lining. It's a small pocket so it shouldn't be a big deal, or does it only go through the leather tab on the front and not all the way through?

It's behind the lining of the pocket, so to put a new one on without ruining the lining would be almost impossible. That's why I think it would almost be worth it to send to Coach.

I doubt they will fix it with their new repair policy. They might not even accept it since it is over a year old. In the past, hardware was guaranteed for life, but they still needed to have the part in stock in order to fix it.

I just reveived a beautiful neon taxi and after just one day it has wear on one corner edge on the bottom. It's coated canvas.... Do they make any sort of clear corner covers you can apply on these bags to give some protection to the edges?

Not that I know of. Maybe you could apply a clear acrylic varnish. I used it on a fabric Fendi and it looked great. You might be able to touch up the corner wear with a bit of paint before you apply the varnish. The main thing to pay attention to with the varnish is to end up with the same level of sheen.

So I just purchased a 2001 station bag at the local thrift for $4.99. It is black and the leather and piping are in excellent shape. I think it will make a great first rehab project. The bag is flattened over the years though, as I have seen w many other bags. My question is, if I wash and stuff the bag to dry, will the bag stay in the "stuffed" shape once it is dry, or does it go flat again?
TIA friends!

It will stay in shape unless you store it flat.

Resist the urge to overstuff! And change the bag's position as it dries.

I have a bag that's white- not an off white shade but more milk white, does anyone have a recommendation for a leather dye to buy so I can fix up some spots around the corner?
If you just need to touch up some spots, you can try acrylic paint mixed with conditioner. There is a color that works for many Coach purses. I can't remember for sure what is called but it might be linen. Otherwise you could use Leather Refinisher but you might have to mix a couple of colors.
