Coach conditioner probably won't do much. I've noticed the purple iris duffles I see on ebay look scratched often. I think these two colors might be the worst. When I got my berry color block Willis, it was scratched. I used Blackrocks on it and it made it almost invisible. I haven't noticed it getting more scratches. Certain vintage bags get scratched every time I carry them.

Darn it! It's a really nice Red. I think you're right about the colors though. There was a Mink Duffle as well and it didn't have any scratches. The leather was the same as the Black one. I'd be willing to go for the Red and put the Blackrocks on it but I'd prefer to start with a bag with little to no scratches. The manager went in the back and she brought out what she thought was the best but she said they were all scratched. The one that had a small scratch had a stain on the other side. Thanks again!

Well fwiw I did a compete dunk and condition with the raspberry Ali versiom from this collection, raspberry leather with black lining, and it was a total non event. The bag was in good shape, ift just needed some reshaping and I always feel better carrying a bag if I can do a real cleaning.

I would expect this to hold up fine. According to the creed they re glove tanned not vachetta.
Woo hoo! Thanks, LaDobe :smile1: I just like having a clean feeling bag after buying one from a thrift store. I think it's just the whole not knowing where they've been thing that kinda creeps me out. Especially after as many bags as I've seen completely trashed at this point!

Rehabber's nightmare. I ran out of Black Rock! I was sure I had another jar. I can't buy it here so have had to wait for it to be shipped from the US so I've had a few weeks of rehabbing drought with unfinished bags waiting for thdir final treatment.

Love this 1994 BT Taylor Zip. I think 1994 British Tan leather is awesome!

Before.

Today we were out and I noticed that my loganberry duffle had a scratch on the front. I tried rubbing it with my finger but it didn't go away. I fully intended to put Blackrocks on it when I got home, but by then the mark had disappeared!
