good enough for me then! i have a nice deep sink in the kitchen and plenty of towels. I don't have the scrub brush for the inside, but we can make do. I'm betting the bath alone will get it done, and then set it on the balcony (well stuffed for shape) to get a little fresh air to speed the drying. I'm going to save this bag!!!!!![]()
Sorry I'm barging in on this discussion so late, but I have a very similar bag which I just rehabbed a few weeks ago; I removed the strap and hangtag, and (gasp) put the bag into a zipped cotton pillow protector and washed it in the washing machine! Call me crazy, but I did it! I used cold water, gentle cycle, and regular detergent (my machine is a front-load). I removed the bag at the end of the cycle, stuffed it with towels to dry, then cleaned the strap and hangtag as well as the brass hangtag ball and chain and, "voila"!!! Once I learn how to post photos I will share.
NOTE: I'd had this bag in the back of my closet for several years; I didn't use it anymore because it was dirty and misshapen from being stored flat (I'm bad, I know). I didn't feel as if I had anything to lose, so I "took the plunge". I couldn't be more thrilled with my first Coach rehab. Now I know why it's so addictive!
