I bought a bag on Etsy that reeked of perfume. And it was undisclosed! 😡 I put it in a lidded plastic bin with several bowls of aquarium charcoal. It took over a month, but eventually the smell was gone. Of course, it may not have been as stinky as your bag.
Thanks! I've read that before about aquarium charcoal. I need to remember it for next time.

Sigh....The One bag that is on my wish list.
Still upset that they 'lost' the package that had the one I bought on Instagram in...this is two years ago now.
Remember that one ergo I tried to send to you that ended up in Germany when COVID started? I I never got it back and it was never delivered to you. International shipping is a mess sometimes.

The difference in the before and after (even without the dye) is such a big change! I recently did a rehab of a City Bag in a similar colour.. But couldn't get the colour back like yours.. mine has some extensive fading at the bottom that won't go away with CPR. I use it personally so I don't mind, but I was wondering if I should try dying it to even out the colour.

I just used a little of this along the piping on mine. Made a big difference. They're calling it "scuff cover" but it has the same ingredients as what they call "leather dye." Kiwi makes a lot of waxy polish products in round tins which I do not want to use on a purse, I believe these are dye, and not polish.

That looks great!! Another idea which I read here is use leather dye lightly mixed in with leather CPR, and apply it that way. Goes on smoother and more evenly dispersed.

Thanks for sharing! I'll have to see if we have these where I'm from.. I've only seen the solid shoe polish in round tins, will see if I can find these. Also thanks for the idea to mix the dye with leather CPR!
