Hello fellow Coach lovers! A new to me, and I believe a bargain, Legacy Leigh 65th Anniversary Camel Vachetta.

Vacetta is tough to clean. It is untreated vegetable tanned leather, which means that the leather absorbs everything. It gets spots and stains from everything it comes in contact with, and darkens with exposure to sunlight and skin oils.
I have a 75th anniversary Willis in vacetta, and when I got it there were denim transfer stains on the back. I was able to get them out with CPR and a damp cloth- which leads me to believe that Coach did not use true naked vacetta for these bags. The vacetta on my LV bag does not have any gloss- the vacetta on my Coach Willis does.
So all that means is that your bag is cleanable, but I don’t think I would dunk it. I tested the CPR and damp cloth on a hidden spot to test for stains before I did the rest.
Anyone else with vacetta experience can chime in

Hi, I need advice on how I may reshape the top handle of a vintage Regina 9983 bag and is Cadillac premium leather kit (cleaner, conditioner, and water and stain protector) safe to be use on vintage Coach bags?
I have used Cadillac Select Premium Leather Lotion with no problem on vintage Coach leather. It is a very light conditioner. I haven't used the other products!

Hi, May anyone advice me on how i may reshape a Regina 9833top handle as it has been mishape?...thanks
If you don't want to dunk the entire bag you could probably wrap a small warm damp towel around the handle for a few minutes and then reform the handle as it dries. I used a soup can once to keep a handle in place while it dried. Or you could hang the bag from an empty paper towel roll between two clothes hangers to hold the new shape of the handle as it dries. The trick is to wet the leather and reshape while drying. Be sure to apply conditioner to any areas of the bag that you dunk or treat with water. Leather CPR seems to be the preferred conditioner most people here use.
