Here’s my learning bag 4924- how do you secure this pipping (i think that’s what it’s called? I have my ideas but want to be taught the correct way..

It looks fantastic! You can't tell it was ever torn. What exactly did you use?

It looks fantastic! You can't tell it was ever torn. What exactly did you use?
1. pulled the pipping back in tightly- like pulling on a slipped draw string
2. applies small amounts of cement w tooth pick & kept working the leather sides up between my fingers & using tweezers to stretch, applying tiny amounts of cement- took about 30 min- did it very gingerly.
3. polish & conditioned bag- brushed & polished with a cloth
4. took tiny scissors & clipped any leather pills that came up over the repaired seam.
5. used burnishing cream & worked edges down
6. touched up seam with colored leather filler.
7. took extra fine file/polish nail file, smoothed down filler.
8. cloth polish bag.

Morning Rehabbers!

I bought this waverly in lime for super cheap. The front and sides are perfect! But the back has staining that looks slightly blue…maybe color transfer from jeans? Only thing that makes me think it’s something else is it’s also near the zipper on the other side. Any thoughts on how to lighten it and make it look slightly better? I’m not expecting them to fade completely, but I figured I should at least give it a shot! 0CA93FAF-D783-4C03-B452-CC03D7789D9B.jpegCF71837C-84A1-43C0-9515-86514BC0FF20.jpeg
