Hi All, I am considering buying this bag, but would love everyone’s opinion on the back of it.
There is discoloration and marks on the back that I think could be alright, but I question if it could be mold damage. Do you all think this looks anything like mold? Thanks in advance!View attachment 5445811
It is difficult to say, but the spots could have been caused by mould.

It looks like mold to me, too.

Hello Coach peeps! I badly need your help. I bought a Coach Poppy leather colour block and previous owner failed to disclose that they smoke. Bag reeks of cigarettes. I already tried the baking soda in sock and vinegar wipedown. I’m so inlove with this bag and would really like to get rid of the horrible smell.

It takes a lot of time to get rid of smoke. I usually hang bags outside for a couple weeks.

Would it affect the leather? It’s scorching hot here right now.
I've hung things out during the summer, but put them in the shade. It's over 100F here.

You could also try getting some aquarium charcoal and sealing the bag up with it. I think some people have had success with that. I've bought so many odor removing products over the years and most don't work or you can't use them on leather.

Smoke smell is very difficult to remove. I once successfully removed cigarette smell from a bag with aquarium charcoal but it took time and it wasn't easy, see the link below:

Ok I have a dilemma and would appreciate opinions.
So, I ordered this bag and got a great deal, but it did not show up in the condition it was pictured in. The hangtag is missing, it’s smells like faint smoke, and there is a mark that looks like a cigarette burn. Also, I’m afraid that the inside may have surface mold.
While I am not afraid to take on this project, I am not sure how to handle the seller being deceitful of the bag’s condition.
How would you all respond?
If you would keep, does anyone have suggestions on fixing possible mold and a cigarette burn?
Thanks in advance!4D78EF72-E91D-4E13-9813-BB49577671F5.jpeg78BCCD16-5C7C-40DD-BD84-4BD43BB8B049.jpegE1078AB4-00F5-4952-A96F-505B75C1E560.jpeg18211C0B-47D9-4D84-84B5-D8E24BB6AA7A.jpeg

Lots of bags are missing the hangtag so unless she said there was one, I don’t think that’s an issue. It’s always a bummer, though, when they’re missing!
I personally don’t think that looks like mold. It’s hard to tell where the burn mark is and how it looks on the purse. If it’s smack dab in the middle front, it might be an issue.
