Now I see what you mean. I bet it would be hard to find the correct replacement piece unless you bought a trashed bag for the parts.Right now it has a cheap replacement zipper pull. I don't know why it makes the bag feel incomplete to me. I added a picture of the zipper pull on a different bag for reference.

If you have a local custom order leather shop, even just an leather craft hobbyist, bring the bag in and I am sure they can custom make that zipper pull for you. Just check the price with them first, some leather smith charge really high price.Right now it has a cheap replacement zipper pull. I don't know why it makes the bag feel incomplete to me. I bet they would require you to bring it in for repair and they wouldn't be able to tell you in advance if they can fix it. However, it would probably be cheaper than paying someone to make a custom one for you.I would contact Coach & see if they might have a replacement zipper pull that could work? I know there’s a slim chance but it wouldn’t hurt to ask![]()

That's what I was thinking, too. I'll have to keep an eye out for one, but most are still priced higher than I would pay just to part out. I thought I got a good deal on this one until it arrived. Lesson learned to look at the zipper pulls, but the pictures didn't show the corner wear. Now I see what you mean. They can't tell you in the store whether they can be repaired. It has to go to the repair department for them to evaluate and decide.I bet they would require you to bring it in for repair and they wouldn't be able to tell you in advance if they can fix it. I requested 3 years ago and still waiting for hangtags!I think their repairs department is still closed. It’s been 8 months & Im still waiting for replacement hangtags that I don’t even need anymore lmao
I know, I've sent things in before when it was cheaper and when the SAs could waive the cost. They can't tell you in the store whether they can be repaired. It has to go to the repair department for them to evaluate and decide.

Thank you very much for the reply. I'm going to give the blackrocks a shot with the technique you suggested. Thank you!If it is sticky, you are using too much or waiting too long after application to wipe it off. Put it on a small portion, then wipe vigorously with a paper towel. Then buff with a brush after waiting awhile. I've used Obenauf's LP. It has a duller finish than Blackrocks, doesn't have the glow you get from Blackrocks. I've never liked it. It works better if you warm it up. The main thing I don't like is the dullness.
Thanks for your input. I think I'll stick with the Blackrocks since I am looking for a sheen. Thank you!I have found that vigorous rubbing with a miracle cloth takes off that stickiness which is often left after brushing. in my experience, Blackrocks leaves more of a sheen than Obenauf LP
