It is minor, I agree. That is why I want to address it now before it turns into a mess. I do have some paint that I can apply and fix it right up.

Is there anything else I can do to permanently prevent further wear of the leather on that corner? It sort of feels like the leather there is worn down very thin whereas in other areas the rolled edge gives a slight bit to a squeeze with the fingertips, like it its thicker.
A couple of my bags had tiny holes like that, I used the head of a big sewing needle, pushed some leather glue through the hole onto the underside of pipping, then pressed down so the piping was glued down. Cleaned off the excess glue then let it dry. After that touched up with puff paint to disguise it.
E6000 or Shoe Goo is very good for this purpose, since they are not running, pretty much no mess at all.

Now I’m a total rehab novice BUT I’m a totally softy and when I see bags like them I just want them to have a better life and fear what others would do to them without a bit of love! Crazy as it sounds...I love to see the beauty in the broken.
I get you! I have a couple of these lost, uber distressed items in my rehab pile.

Just purchased a coach court bag in green. See the attached pic of ink inside bag - did not leak through to outside. Im worried that if I dunk it, it might bleed to outside? Anyone have experience with something similar?

Got the Olive Court and worked on the ink before taking a deep breath and dunking. A very small spot came through by the piping but I can definitely live with it. Was olive a color for this bag or maybe loden as the seller called it. I put it next to my bottle green Scout bag and it’s definitely more olive compared to it.

its looks suede...has it been dunked already?
is that purple?! I didn’t know purple scooters existed. Tbh I think it looks fine but is it supposed to look suede? Id have no issues carrying it the way it is :)
Not suede, maybe close to nubuck. I will disclose more tomorrow but would like to know how you girls think about the color first.

On second thought, I am not going to wait later. It was off-white scooter dip dyed with Rit dye. The outer surface was light sanded so leather would take dye better. Still didn't sand evenly, thus the color verivation. This is before.

I like it! Especially for the spring time. It sorta reminds me of a dyed easter egg or like those colourful acid wash clothes from the 90s. As long as you like the final result, then thats all that matters! :)

Thank you very much. I am kind of sitting on the fence. One way I kind of like it, the other way I think I can make the color even by surface dying, so it will look like a regular bag. But I am going to leave it alone for now, and see if it will grow on me.

It's a beautiful color but the unevenness would bother me I think. If it were my bag, I would try to surface dye it.
