Well she is almost finished...just a bit of drying to do inside and I have to fix the male part of the turnlock a bit.
But the colour guys...still dont know.
Pictured with my current Ramblers Legacy, my Mahogany willis , my red city to show her shading.
The stain didnt come out but has been lessened. She either was sitting in something or something spilt inside her.

I think I was just lucky with the colour...the sellers pictures weren't that great in showing the colour and they just called it red.
I decided to go for it as I didnt want another brown.
My mum has sorta fallen in love with it so think I will be giving it to her as soon as she is fully dry.

ETA to fix my spelling mistakes again....OMG...I need to go back to school...or stop trying to be fast on the keyboard

Looks great! I love the color. I’m leaning towards Bordeaux as well. My 2 burgundy bags turned out darker with more purple undertones after they were rehabbed.

I love that color! It's understated but different enough to be noticeable. And I love the variations in your photo. Maybe we should have a color of the day sometime and post our bags, like a theme.

Stunning, great job! I love all of them.

I like Renapur over Blackrocks as a finishing conditioner, but either does the same thing.

Does the Renapur leave a matte-ish finish or is it more shiny? I wanted to order some CPR as an extra layer of conditioner for some of my more dryer bags but I can’t find it here in Canada. I did however find the Renapur you mentioned on Amazon

ETA: I just found the CPR on amazon as well!! So I guess my question now is which one should I get for a last step conditioner :)

Cpr is for when the bag is still wet after a dunk. Renapur is the final step. Renapur is more shiny, you really need to rub it in.

I know a couple of us have talked here before about the made in the United States leather becoming stiff after a dunk. I'm working now on my second made in the United States Station bag and I wanted to ask if anyone else has ever done this?
After the first dunk when the bag was taking tons of conditioner and still not getting softer, I dunked the bag again, this time not getting all the conditioner out but sort of rubbing it in as the bag is wet. Then I took the bag out and allowed it to dry again. For the second time this has made a huge difference! It worked like a charm on the black Station I sent my mom. Hopefully I'll have pics soon of the BT one I'm currently working on. It was a mess.

I want to try this! So do you mean you are applying cpr while in the water? Or right after it comes out of the water? All of my station bags are stiff even after multiple coats of CPR with the exception of my red one which is the only one I have made after 1994 (though technically I don’t have that anymore because I gifted it to a friend).

Next time, try brushing the inside suede with a stiff brush or a sanding block.

It was sort of accidental. I felt like there was too much conditioner or something so I dunked again and it was obvious the conditioner wasn't coming out so I just massaged it in while the bag was in the water. Seemed to help even out the color and definitely the shine improved a lot.

I always apply cpr about 2 to 3 hrs after dunking. Just use a towel to soak up water inside and create the shape I want. Take the towel out usually when I do my first application and dont put it back again.

Bed Bath & beyond have them, I am in Canada too. $19.99 a bottle, but sometimes you can get a 20percent off coupon.
