Hi y’all! I have a really great 70th edition Willis, it’s got some color transfer on it. I have tried to get it off but it wouldn’t really budge. I am debating on dying it black as I prefer black bags. I don’t even know where to begin. What would y’all recommend??
I really love the lining in this bag!!!
Hi! Dying a glove tanned leather bag takes a bit of work and has been posted on this week, if you go back and read from a few days ago. This bag has burnished leather, if I understand correctly and doesn’t clean/condition/act like vintage leather from before approx 2000. You can use the search feature for *anniversary Willis* and *burnished leather* for previous comments on this bag from others that may help. And let’s see what others have to say!

Awesome find though!!
Agree, pretty color and beautiful condition. Now I need to hunt for an Emmie flap myself, when ban is over...

Got an adorable little prairie bag in the mail and she was wrapped like a treasure. I love how thoughtful the seller was! I put her right into the sink and now I can't wait till she's all done so I can move my stuff in because that is one adorable crossbody bag! I wasn't expecting to like it so much lol
I hope you enjoy your prairie Aku_no_Hana! I have a black and a BT and just think they are so cute too!

There is part of me that would like to take this on, it would be way out of my rehab comfort zone, but there is another that thinks it would crumble with a touch https://www.ebay.com/itm/COACH-Vintage-Brown-Leather-Turnlock-Brass-Crossbody-Shoulder-Bag-Purse/324152634115?_trkparms=aid=111001&algo=REC.SEED&ao=1&asc=225086&meid=2abc26a1aa594a4db44337720a1b9873&pid=100667&rk=2&rkt=8&mehot=none&sd=254507017891&itm=324152634115&pmt=0&noa=1&pg=2334524&brand=Coach&_trksid=p2334524.c100667.m2042

How would even start this? CPR it back to life, then dunk and CPR again?
Is is the long split in the piping that would worry me the most.

I needed a opinion please, I have 2 stewardess bags that need rehabbing, one is a Costa Rica BT that will be easy just needs to unflatten, the other is a NYC orange and I'm afraid it will lose it's beautiful color, but it's so dry and dirty, has anybody rehabbed an orange older bag?View attachment 4728796
I recently rehabbed an NYC “orange” crescent bag and the usual dunk and condition and blackrocks worked fine. The color became more vibrant afterwards too. If it’s very dry, maybe put on a coat or 2 of CPR before dunking?

I rehabbed a beautiful orange NYC bag. It turned red after rehab. It was obviously red before rehab but was so dry that the color had faded to orange. Rehabbing just brought back the color. It was disappointing though since I hoped it was orange.

I did look at this but thought it too much for me...am still looking.
This the large?

I dunked, shaped and conditioned two different duffle sacs, NYC bags with no problems. They came out beautifully. Lots of CPR at the end. The color on both got even deeper and more beautiful.
