Ooo, after reading the reviews as well, I think I'm going to try it. The pink one is my sisters, at one point it was her favorite, and she gave it to me but I think if I can get it out I'll give it back. Lol
The tan one is actually a Kate Spade of mine, I bought it brand new to treat myself after finishing my medical classes and passing my regional certification. Lol need to get her looking good again.
I've read to use shout, baby wipes, tide to go pens, and something I've never even heard of so I didn't remember it.

Here's an after shot of my new-to-me Manor residing on my grandma's old armchair. I'm pleased with the outcome but can't take much credit as she was in very decent shape already.
As predicted, the pen marks and mystery stain at the bottom didn't come out even after sponging her down with Lexol cleaner. I tend to do better with flawed bags when it comes to actually carrying them though, so that's a good thing.
I wish purses could talk, I'd be very interested in her life story. She looks like she spent one wild week at the office and was then put in closet prison for the rest of her 24 years. She has zero going in terms of patina, just a couple of nicks here and there.

It was a straightforward rehab. The biggest challenge here was conditioning the inside. Most of my other bags are essentially boxes with straps, but the Manor has a complicated architecture with nooks, crannies, folds and layers. Sparing the suede from being CPR'd was difficult. Also just reaching in for buffing, I felt like a contortionist.

Here she is! She is not actually two-toned, the flap color is truest to real life.
ETA: She did come with her hangtag, but I don't care for those, so didn't put it on.

I have a bag that has some significant ink stains on the legacy striped fabric lining. I haven't tried to remove serious ink spots from fabric in a long time; what are the current approaches recommended by rehabbers? TIA!

Both colors change with wear and age. Here's an early 1990s Chrystie in British Tan and a 1980s NYC Shoulder Purse in Tabac. The difference really shows on the inside suede.

So lula's got a dunk and a scrub, water was hot because it had little black spots, not mold, like it laid on top of a paper and the pattern transfered onto the bag. Spots came off with a little scrub, but the bag is very mottled. I really hope it drys even. Bottom is perfect though lol.

I compared it to my yellow regina and it was pretty much the same, it also has brass hardware. Did these come in a camel? Plus I had alot of yellow in the water, but I dunno.
