Oh my gosh my first Regina arrived! It was on ebay and the seller said it was navy but I wasn't really sure. Thought it might have been black which would have been ok too. It's navy and in great shape. Can't wait to get to rehabbing. This is a perfect size bag and so cute! I might be hooked and need more of these so now I understand why you ladies love them.

What do you think of the price at $49? It had a bid price of $38 to start but I hate bidding and waiting. I would rather spend the extra $11 and have it sent. I tried to research it but there aren't many sold listings and none for navy.

Long time no rehab haha I have many pages to go back and peruse. I just shared this in another thread. A few months back I scored an XL Ergo tote for only $20! The exterior was in decent shape, just dried out a bit wrinkly and a few scuffs. The interior was filthy! I couldn’t get the pen marks out of the lining but whatever, you can’t see them that much when my items are in the bag. I actually put this baby in my washing machine instead of dunking! I knew it was a risk but I have a newer one without an agitator. I just selected gentle cycle no spin. She just softly spun and spun until the lining was clean! I would never have been able to use it without cleaning the lining. Just some conditioning and black rocks and she’s perfect

Beautiful! I think that Ergo bags are some of the loveliest and most comfortable line of bags that Coach has made; you did a great job with the rehab.

I have also cycled bags through the washer when sink washing won't be sufficient. I put them inside a net laundry bag or tie them up in a pillowcase. I have used Woolite but I usually use Leather Therapy Laundry Solution and Leather Therapy Laundry Rinse and Dressing. These products are designed for Equestrian riders and Motorcyclists that wear a lot of leather. They are not cheap but they last a long time.

Hi everyone, I just got my first vintage bag in the mail. I'm stoked although in retrospect I feel like I paid too much in haste- 55. I can't believe the year I went to college is now vintage lol. Anyway I wanted to ask for some advice about what I should do in terms of polishing up this one. First off the strap is a bit stretched so it doesn't stay snugly on the brass ring. Any solutions for this? There's some scuffing on the piping and a few small spots here and there. Other than that, it's a bit grimy and smells like Bounce sheets. Think a dunking is warranted? Which products should I use on the leather? TIA! ♥️View attachment 4697432 View attachment 4697433 View attachment 4697434

Nice find, don't worry about the cost. I have found some bags very cheap and I've probably paid too much for others - but it all works out.

I agree, I would dunk it and use the products that @whateve recommended. When you use Blackrocks be sure to apply it sparingly and wipe off the excess immediately. It has an odor but it fades soon.

I suggest that you invest in a good, horsehair shoe brush because it makes it easier to buff bags. You will also need a metal polish to shine up the hardware, I prefer Wenol. These products also cost money, but they last a long time.

Is the bag missing the hangtag? Call Coach Customer Service and ask them for a free replacement hangtag, they will probably send a plain gold metal hangtag to match the hardware. It may take a long time to arrive, but it's free and genuine!

Welcome to rehabbing!

My husband isn't happy that I'm growing out my gray, but I am. Especially now-- hair dye is one less thing to worry about. I inherited my curly hair from my father. My mom had totally different hair. My sister got my dad's curly hair too but hers is coarser than mine. My sister lives in Arizona. Her daughter stopped swimming when she was a teen because she didn't want to get her hair wet and have to deal with the curls and frizz. I always thought that it was sad to give up something she enjoyed for her hair.
Aw I'm sorry your husband is not supportive about it. You have to do what's best for you and your hair. Especially now with everything being so crazy. Curly hair can be a real pain! I never knew where I got mine and now my granddaughter has it too.

I’ve just washed a bag, and whitish spots appeared on the surface. Is it the spew? Can I do anything now while it’s drying or do I have to wait for it to dry? Thanks, fellow rehabbers.

Try directing the heat from hair dryer at the white spots, if they disappear almost immediately it means that it is spue. If not, then it may be mold and that will be more difficult to address; can you post pictures here?

White spots that appear right after washing are likely to be mold. Did you rinse in vinegar? If you didn't, wipe with vinegar now. I would put it out in the sun if you can as that kills mold.
