I hate to kill a bag, but this one got ink mark everywhere inside and out. I dunk it twice already. Also top edge color is faded, Edge paint chiped as well. Just a lot of work to bring her back to beauty again. Is it still doable?

Had her for a long time now. Came with a yellow Bleeker large flap. Both bags were rehab special.
Both didn't rehab well.

I dunked this Gilford bag today (so it’s currently drying) and was thinking about how much more I would like it if it had a top handle (maybe not this exact shape in the pic but to get an idea - without and with a top handle). It’s not in the best shape so I wouldn’t mind experimenting. Has anyone ever attempted to do this before? The flap is actually leather on the other side (similar to the court bag) so I’m unsure of how hard it would be. I think this is probably too high level for me! But I was just thinking about it...

I think a leather worker could do it easily. I bet you could find a leather handle that was the correct size and shape and just bolt it on.
