HELP!
I am afraid I messed up.
I tried to clean a small stain on the pocket of this Cashin bag, it was small but it was dark on the yellow stripe and was very noticeable. I used some Soilove and water and rubbed gently. The stain came out very easily and the color didn't fade, so I was relieved. Then I thought maybe it would leave a water mark, and decided to damp the whole pocket, when dry is when I noticed all these marks :confused1:

There were no stains inside the pocket, no dirt, nothing.... very clean, so I am assuming these marks are from a glue residue or interface used to keep the two sides of the pocket together? I do not know... but of course is much worse now.

Any ideas of what I could do? TIA

Is it still damp? Wait until it dries completed to see what it looks like.

I think those two styles are the same size, about 10-1/2" x 9-1/2" x 4-1/2". What may be different are the colors available, the type of leather, or the finish on the leather.

Here's the 11285. Its Wayback description says "Nappa" leather and its creed may say "individually burnished," or not.

The creed on the 10743 might say burnished, or not.

I'll have to re-measure my 10743 because it looks and feels smaller than my 11285, and the handle drop is not as generous on the 10743. Maybe my 11285 stretched?!

How long do you wait between coats of CPR? The bags I am dunking and condishing are drying from a dunk what I would guess is pretty fast, like feeling dry to the touch in about 12 to 14 hours. I put a coat of CPR on one this morning and I wonder how long I should wait before applying another.

Also, do you notice much difference in how the leather takes the CPR if you apply it once the bag is dry to the touch versus when it is the right time to apply versus when it is still too damp?

Katev gave good suggestion on this, if you can pull the lining out of the bag, then wash it with Down dish detergent and water may get the stain out, brush the lining gently with a soft tooth brush. I washed two BC stripe lined bags, the lining both came out ok.
