The Red and British tan Tafts that I own, the handtags are attached to one of the buckles.I do what I learned to do here. I dunked it in lukewarm water and dish detergent for 20 minutes. I stuffed it with towels and then applied Leather CPR while still damp. i changed the towels after a bit for dry ones. After it was dry, i applied CPR again and buffed. Because the piping was worn, i mixed a bit of Dark Brown Edge Kote with a smidgen of Burnt Sienna acrylic paint and applied it there with a q-tip or fingers. I finished with Blackrocks.
Does anyone know where or if a hangtag can sit on a Taft? The straps are so thick.

They feel like cardboard. I think someone dunked one a long time ago successfully. I've never had the nerve. Also, don't use acetone on the lining.Anyone around here have anything from the Madison line? Are these cardboard lined? Something is telling me not to dunk this one so quickly.

Not necessarily. What I've been doing to reshape some things lately is using my steam iron, with a press cloth of course. You could always just stuff with towels hot from the dryer if reshaping is what you need.I’m thinking this was a bad purchase...

What color and style is it?
I wanted to report about the latest product I tried.

I really like it. It is a very thin paint, easy to apply and blends in well. Even though it is thin, it covers well. I will be using this to touch up corners now instead of the acrylic paint mixed with conditioner. It seems to have just the right sheen.
Here's a rehab one person did with a steamer:BT/Brown? 4409 Madison Arcadia Tote? Not sure if that’s right.
Why do you want to dunk it? That leather does not respond to dunking the way the glove tanned leather does.Anyone around here have anything from the Madison line? Are these cardboard lined? Something is telling me not to dunk this one so quickly.

Thanks!Hi! I’ve seen Taft hangtags on the buckle or on the zipper pull ring. I keep mine on the zipper pull since the buckle is high up.
