Ok, here she is, some spots lighted but still there this is after a soak for an hour, intermittent scrubbing, and a really oily conditioner.

Can anyone link to a post that shows the complete process to use when restoring the Coach purses? I would love a step by step with the best products.
Also, how to get rid of old oil stains. Thank you
Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!Regarding the paint, acetone might work.
Regarding old oil stains...very tough to remove. On a fresh stain, cornstarch might work. You can try rubbing Dawn directly on the stain and massaging it in with your fingertips, then rinsing thoroughly in warm water several times. I haven't had success with either method, unfortunately.
Here's my collection of step-by-step posts on dunking. Everyone has developed their own methods, so if you have specific questions, search the thread or post your questions and someone may be able to offer specific tips and tricks.

It just makes it much cleaner and reshapes it at the very least.Hello Rehab Pros: I have no experience in rehabbing vintage bags. I just purchased this vintage backpack, and would appreciate some advice please. I don't think it has any stains, but the piping is very scuffed. Is there anything I can do for that? When is dunking recommended? Does it just need conditioning? Which products would you recommend? Thank you in advance!View attachment 4107056View attachment 4107057View attachment 4107058View attachment 4107059

Thanks! Since I lost my job last year i have a lot of time to spend on my thrifting habit. Persistence pays off. The thrill of the hunt doesn't quite replace a salary, but at this point I'll take the thrills I can get.Holy moly! Jealous!
